Inter were allegedly after Mane for £35m. He is worth double that amount at the moment and by the end of the season will be worth treble.
I wonder when we will have a defender that other clubs actually want?

Other clubs apparently don't have defenders we want either, so I ask myself if there are any defenders left at all.

There's a lot of naivety floating around regarding our owners.

I don't believe for one minute that Couthino is still at the club because FSG want to build a world class club. If they thought they could have got away with selling him without there being some kind of backlash, however it manifested itself, I 100% believe that they would have cashed in.

IMO Mane is our best player and was last season as well. It's only a matter of time before he's flogged on for an extreme profit and it will be done during some smoke screen from a PR grenade.

The stats speak for themselves.

Over 2 seasons
Maureen at Man £250 Million net spend - 3 trophies and a team worth getting behind.

Klopp - £34 Million net spend - won nothing and fans understanding why any player showing potential would want off.

The big picture is not hard to see folks #FSGOUT

Who would you rather have Pogba or Mane ? Answer that and then you can start valuations.

food chain, We are not at the top of it. Can't blame any player wanting to go to Barca. Short career why would you not want to achieve all you can in that short period.

Geez salah reminds me of Keegan in his play

Wow sixties, that is an astute comparison. Interestingly Keegan left Liverpool for Hamburg at a time when German and Italian clubs were paying inflated fees for players and Keegan was lured by the money and the chance to win lots more medals. But Liverpool reruited fantastic players (including Kenneth Dalglish) and went on to dominate Europe even more so and the next season they battered Keegan's Hamburg 5-0 and it should have been 10-0. I remember an interview with him after that match and his eyes were wide as saucers in disbelief as he admitted that Liverpool were great when he left but were getting even better and better. But Keegan was brilliant though.

Coutinho is still at the club because Klopp didn't want to sell him, as simple as that. Otherwise, United owners do not put much more of their own money in the club than FSG, United is just the most profitable club, also simple

Would this be the same Klopp, by any chance, that said that conceded even he was a boss and if Phil went, it was out of his hands?

Whether you believe it or not (doesn't really matter tbh) when owners have a £100 Mill+ assest they can cash in they will listen to the "contracted manager" but there is no way he has the last word on the matter. Even more simple than your simple.

As for Man U's finances, whatever. But they have won trophies and look capable of winning much more.

As for Liverpool's finances, £34 Mill for a new manager to spend over 2 seasons (4 windows) is a p1ss take. Of course, it's you prerogative to defend our owners and this pathetic outlay. In fact, you're not alone. But and.. and.. and.. and....

You know what, there's not point debating with you on this. You're obviously content with the mediocrity at the club were as I'm not. Let's just leave it at that.

I'll continue to berate FSG with facts and you'll continue to defend them with platitudes.

Simpler than a Meercat Orgy!!
