Switching keepers between CL & PL is the worse option, he needs to choose a keeper and keep playing them for continuity with the defence, then drop them if not happy, like he did last season, but changing every few games is not going to help sort the defensive problems. I think he wants Karius as number one and thinks that CL would be easier to ease him in as it is less physical especially on set pieces

i dont know how it works. but theres no better way to make the defence and GKs get accustomed to each other than this rotation Klopp is doing. maybe. it might get tricky as you all say but what else would prepare them n keep them on their toes. if they are any good n want to improve this should help.... if any of the GKs get injured long term then we play with 10 men ? since our other goal keeper doesnt gel well with the defence?

So our back 5 against Sevilla was Karius, Gomez, Matip, Lovren and Moreno.
The back 5 against Burnley was Mignolet, TAA, Matip, Klavan and Robertson.
No other team anywhere in the world consistently changes their back 4 and goalkeeper. We can't defend, that's obvious. So why not pick your best back 5, whatever that is, work with them on the training field and let them play together week in week out. Actually I know why we don't do this, because defending is irrelevant isn't it Jurgen, it's a part of football you don't care about and show no respect too.
Sam Allardyce and Tony Pulis can get teams to defend, it's not difficult to be organised, win headers and be commanding. Yet we and Klopp can't do it, why the hell not?
Our biggest defensive problem it's Klopp rotation policy, it's beyond stupid. Hence why no other club does it.

The sad thing is we'd no doubt challenge if we could defend. If either of those managers you mentioned we're here we'd have gotten three points yesterday.

Sam and pullis had the players perfectly fit to execute their plans. there should be no doubts about that I recall Rafa was heavily criticized for rotation in his years, every presser same question was thrown at him. now since we r not grinding out results, rotation is the biggest problem of Klopp. How does that work

How often did Rafa change his goalkeeper and defenders? All teams rotate, but they all have settled goalkeeper and defence, the odd full back may change but that's it. We have a completely different defence every game and that's a huge part of the problem.

Yep, Fergy used to rotate UTD, but rarely changed the defence, he'd rotate MF & FW, but the defence was the same week in, week out. Title wining teams have a settled defense. Also, defenders don't seem to burn out like MF & FW do, especially with Klopps style of play where MF & FW close down and cover allot of ground, so I can see why they rotate more, but it's not needed as much for the defenders.

Correct, but Klopp rotates his defenders and goalkeepers more than his midfielders and forwards. Again this makes absolutely no sense to me.
