I have never had any qualms about the guy's personal qualities, and I think he is a great human being. He'd be a dream neighbour or godfather to my child. Sole reason I wanted him out of the club was the fact it was going down the drain with him in charge and would have plummeted further next season if he remained there.
Yeah I agree payment of £96,000 into the Hillsborough fund was a great gesture but given his wages in relation to mine and probably yours it's no great deal. I give £50 per month from a basic net income of £1,788 to the PDSA. Rafa received a minimum £24 million before the termination of his contract and it seems to be public knowledge he was paid a further £6 million as a "settlement". We must surely put things into perspective.
