I think if we have a season like the last Klopp will be under great pressure.

I read that Ancelotti wants to come back to the prem and will be leaving Bayern Munich. I know we considered him before Klopp came and you just never know in football these days!

1) He's been in charge for 2 years - are we any more likely to win something than under previous managers?
2) After 106 games his wins ratio, points gained and goal difference are worse than Rodgers for the same amount of games
3) Under Brendan, we only ever had 1 problem - an embarrassingly poor defence. Jurgen has done nothing to improve this - we're actually worse. Lovren is a joke, and rather than replace him he gets a new contract!!
4) Sakho has been our best defender since he arrived. He's gone and we're left with Lovren and Klavan. Inexplicable decision making.
5) Moreno - did ok last night if he was playing as a left winger. But he's a defender and cannot defend to save his life. Why is he still here?!?!
6) Jordan Henderson for captain. WHAT THE F U C K!!!!!!

Sadly, I'm struggling to find reasons why we should keep Herr Klopp. Yes we can play good attacking football, but that has always been the case - it's nothing new. And if it's not winning us games, what's the point?

much of these inherited problems. atleast I dont see any of the names which Klopp brought in

There hasn't been any improvement? We're in the Champions League again, in the last 8 years we've qualified twice. Sure, you don't get a trophy for it but it's an achievement in itself, given there are 4 teams with more resources than ourselves.

Maybe the improvement aren't coming quick enough, I'm unsure if the defence has actually got worse - I'd say it's the same as under Rodgers. There are definitely massive question marks over the defence. Annoyingly we didn't get Keita or VVD for this season, I think we'd look a different team with them in the starting XI.

100% agree!

I still remember the team when Klopp took charge, can't attack at all without Sturridge. Couldn't create much chances and cannot beat any teams from the top half of the table.
Lost to West Ham for 0-3 and lost to Stoke for 1-6 at home.

The team has no true wingers and wide players and full of under-performers.

Klopp took charge and he immediate does some magic to our attack. Making us the real force in EPL with great attacking power. Lead us to two finals and make us to CL again.

When you look at the squad and the players we have now and comparing them to two years ago, you can actually find a huge improvement.
We are actually a better team than the last year one. And the last year one is actually a better team than that of a year before. We are no doubt making some huge progress here.

I agree with Heskey that Klopp is improving our squad, but it is a journey, not a sprint (as expected by some fans).

We have to be patient as we didn't spend a lot (we started to spend more this summer but it is just the start of our season) and we do not have too much to spend. We must spend wisely. Everyone yelling at no plan B centre back. Of course, it is always easy to go for plan B/C/D/E/F.... if you have adequate funds. You can go for as much plans as you want if money is not a concern.
But for our case, FSG DO have a limited budget on transfer. We must spend wisely to make sure we dont buy one that is not good enough or not fit into our system. Anyone remember the case of Balotelli? Buying wisely is extremely important in this transfer windows as the price is mad even for an average player. We must accept that Klopp wants to buy someone that can convince him that actually can help our team.
As Klopp said, we wont spend for the sake of spending.
Personally, I dont want to buy someone that Klopp dont want and turn out to be Lovern and Ballotelli version 2.

P.S. To said that Klopp is here for 2 seasons and achieved nothing is a little bit misleading. Klopp actually took charge to the team after the season started and Bredan almost ruined the season already and there was not much that Klopp to do in his first season (and he took us to two finals).

great post mate

And what does Wijnaldum DO!?!?! I rarely realise he's playing!?

i can answer a few.

Sakho wasnt playing anyways.
Hendo. no choice. hes the fookin captain as well.
Wij. atleast does more than Hendo. contributes more. inconsistent again but still better of the lot

This stubbornness is not new but we can't wait for Jan. I think we need to play with a true DM who stays just in front of the CB like Matic and Kante.

it def cant be Hendo. so i dont know who out of the current can be. but i agree we need one or a makeshift until someone else is signed

No it doesn`t by employing the likes of Hodgeson and Rodgers tells me there are next to no standards.I have not seen any top club even consider either of those two,so what makes you think we have high standards? What we are going to do here is start niggling away and eventually force Klopp out exactly the same way we did to Rafa and how did that turn out?You Stanley are one of the old guard who know how to support the club, team and the manager please dont become one of these whoppers who want change every blip we have.As a club we dont have the money for instant success, and theres going to be mistakes along the way,we have to support Klopp in what he`s trying to acheive with us.

No, we don't sack Klopp, that would be silly. He deserves 1 or 2 seasons. I'm saying if the same [oops] continues for the next year or so, you can't say you would be happy nor can you tell people to be patient. I want to know why the [oops] are we not buying good players, I want to know why the [oops] are we happy with a squad of Journey men? Klopp shouldn't get the sack, but surely we can criticize him ?

we dont have unlimited resources. do we want Klopp to do a Rafa against the owners n pack his bags even before we all want him to leave? we are no shitty or scum who can just go buy whoever they want. its going to be long n slow painful process. I trust Klopp. I for a fact know that for whatever bs pr of owners say otherwise money is tight and I atleast support Klopp for not just accepting mediocrity.

We have been doing this for years now and still there are positions that need sorting.
Its unrealistic to expect wins by simply scoring bags full of goals and hoping we don't concede crazy
Im sick and tired of waiting my patience has been worn down and the worst thing is we wait so long for one measly player to plug a gap only for another to open up IE phil will want to go followed swiftly by the likes of Mane, and so it goes on and on and on..... mad
I wouldn't like to see Klopp sacked but he will be if he doesn't hurry up and address the problems, his head will be on the block without doubt and he will deserve the criticism .

finally laugh

Maybe this is why we signed Oxlade? He wants to move more into the midfield as far as I know, I really can't see another reason for getting him in. You pay 35m for a player I'd hope there's a plan there somewhere.

thats the problem right there. its all in our heads. mediocrity of 3 decades and we still set high standards. lets be realistic and give time for a rebuilding if that at all is in the plans of the decision makers
