I liked him at the start, but he seemed to lose the plot at the end with his post match 'Outstanding' comments when we had played liked donkeys.

I think he gave up allot of management power to get the LFC job, he would have agreed to any contract, he had his best players sold from under him and was forced to work with players he never wanted (Balotelli etc), so I did feel abit sorry for him at the end, he was a dead man walking start of 2015-2016 season and everyone knew it, they should have got rid after the Stoke embarrassment.

I agree with most of that ecnirp, except I think FSG we're more angered by his consistent calls for a higher calibre of recruit signing, than they were by the results, which to them and their strategy was acceptable enough, so when they saw that Klopp was available, they assumed he'd be prepared to work with cheapie prospects, (how shocked they must be feeling now!) they decided to ditch Rodgers. Had Klopp not been available and indicated his preference for Liverpool, we would probably have The Blue's manager now.

Total BS. He was sacked by FSG because of results, he had no balls to take on FSG. KD on the other hand was sacked because he went to tell them to continue with the spending despite flops like Carroll, Downing and Herderson then, though he should have been given one more season IMO so that players would settle in his system. I know you prefer BR to Klopp for whatever obscure reasons.

I think he was a young manager with potential who got the tough job too early in his career. I do feel he is on his way to become a top manager

Think he could've done well with us if he had got his targets on the transfer market

I agree he was sacked over results, which meant we missed the CL cash cow, we also had the crazy CL campaign where we played weakened teams in a competition we fought so hard to get into, which showed a lack of experience.

After that he lost the supporters trust/faith and there did not seem any real plan to where we were headed, he looked like a rabbit in the headlights at the end.

He is doing a decent job at Celtic but is largely untested in that league, but he can still make himself look naïve and stupid, like when he compared Celtics recent unbeaten league achievement to the Lisbon Lions.
