didnt dunk all but assure us that barry would be a liverpool player this summer? and that he would only leave villa for a top 4 club ?

Apparently rfa wanted him to play left back and left wing and Barry prefers playing down the middle.
Barry is the one that wanted champiosn league football

Never wanted him anyway, Would of been an expensive but poor signing for us. Our best signing this summer would be keeping Alonso

we need to break the bank for a worldclass winger. everything else could be managed.

I beleive that was his OPINION and not a fact coming direct from Rafa. Same as everyone else on here has an opinion about our signings. You never know who will come in until they are standing outside Melwood with the Liverpool scarf over their head.

Rafa plays his card very close to his chest... and I agree Saud, I hope we spend big on a world class winger, keep Xabi and Masc - job's a good-un!

Apparently Real are back in for Ronaldo. With them also wanting Kaka that would mean Xabi is a no go for them. Hopefully they can pull both of those signings off.
