Ok so now that the window is shut (assuming we don't lose any player to leagues where the window is still open), what is our best match day squad? For me it's:

Bench: Karius, Clyne, Klavan, Wijnaldum, Ox, Lallana, Sturridge

Other players to rotate: Ward, Moreno, Gomez, Grujic, Milner, Solanke, Ings

Looking at that we do have pretty good depth except for in CB as we all know. Some of those players are the best but all of them are good enough to put in a decent display. We even have some players on the bench that could potentially come into that first 11 without impacting the quality (Clyne, Wijnaldum, Milner, Ox, Lallana, Sturridge)

Is it good enough to compete on 4 fronts? Maybe not, but I think we'll still be in for a good season (assuming no serious injuries to Matip)

I'd have Clyne at right back if/when fit but other than that I agree with your selection, WNP.

It's a fairly strong team (shame about the defence but hey ho) and a stronger squad than last season. I expect us to finish in the top four but I don't expect to challenge on four fronts, let the fringe players and younger lads play in the league and FA cups. A title challenge or failing that, Champion's League qualification is key, far more important than either of the cups.

His assurances will be "if you prove that you're good enough, you'll start", same as any other player.

I think a team of midfielders would do well.

I think because of his age. I don't think you have to name under 21's or something like that?

As he can play a few positions he will be vital in the squad
