Is anyone else bemused that one of our better players is on the final year of his contract, why hasn't the club sorted this out yet? He's still 22 so a lot of potential in him to grow into a big money player. I really rate him and don't want to lose him without a huge transfer at least. Pay up and sign him up ffs

Lose him for 60-70m or lose him for free? He can sign pre contract with any club in January for a free transfer if we don't give him a contract, we have to protect our investment at least..

We should go all out to keep him, to replace him will cost £50+million, he's getting better every year as an all round midfielder.

We should go all out to keep him, to replace him will cost £50+million, he's getting better every year as an all round midfielder. With Naby Keita joining next season one of our CB will move and will probably be Can (or maybe Milner) unless he is converted to a central defender

It's been reported for a good while now that the club have offered Can a couple of contracts. If he doesn't want to sign, the club cannot force him to.
He was brilliant against Arsenal and Hoffenheim, Klopp clearly rates him and wants to keep him. I don't think it's the club's fault if he leaves.

It would be a mistake to let Can leave, we know coutinho will be going and Milner will be approaching the end of his career with us.

I think he's already gone.
I like him. I think he is gonna be a hell of a player but we are so overstocked in midfield that we won't miss him.
Id rather him than wijnaldum and Henderson but the amount of players we have for that position is ridiculous. Which is why he'll leave.
