I'm not interested in his jumping around on the touch line antics, I am allot more interested in how a manager manages this team to challenge for and eventually win the premier league.

Ye I'm sorry this seems a common theme as theirs a divide in fanbase where the blame is, you blame klopp for not moving on, I blame FSG for a tame push for klopps top target ,

I remember BR and the infamous commitee , we'd be better off if BR didn't settle for second best (ballotelli)

So I agree with klopp, it's a principle to re-align a mentality he wants to instil , regardless of alternatives , he wants VvD and he expects a strong push for his top target. He's upset and making a point to the fans and board , his way or nothing, coutinho has stayed because klopp was considering his position at club if FSG went above him, simply FSG were tame and I'm happy klopp didn't settle his standards , regardless if they are idiotic .

Klopp wants That money saved to go to VvD , VvD had a price , we were unwilling to test the waters . So no f**k that I don't want alternatives when FSG clearly are reluctant to get VvD. Atleast klopp is standing up to FSG.

Also mourinho/conte wouldn't survive with FSG, the financial demand too high, klopp is asking for a reasonable investment in a top target .

Our attack is among the best in Europe, midfield very well stocked. It will be immense next year.

Our GK is average and defence mid-table at best. Despite it being our most glaringly obvious weakness, we actually have one CB less than we started. If we don't need the money, why let Sakho go without a replacement

Was Klopp stubborn, FSG tight, did our scouts not identify ONE cb from another league who was better than Klaven? A Hyppia/Vidic type gamble from left-field.
Imagine Matip gets injured and Lovren/Klaven play every game.

On the plus, the attacking side might just keep us at the top end until January...

I don't understand Klopp on this. Howedes was apparently available for 20m which was great value IMO, don't understand the stubbornness for VVD. The most expensive CB right now is 51m and I understood we were ready to break that record, nobody can convince me that we couldn't reinforce our defence with that kind of money. Klopp has such bizarre decisions every window, for example not buying a LB last year. Maybe he will use Can as CB when there are injuries

Klopp has obviously got a ie 5 year. He knows what he wants and is willing to wait until he gets it. From his point of view why should he waste money a player when he wants the better player. He is going to wait it out. At the end of the day we will wait longer but we will get in a better player

yeah its klopps cb profile that put it off, he wants quick defenders that will risk a goal to get to the ball first.. old school defending defenders is not his bag

Howedes is a great defender.but he is the complete opposite to van dijk. He's a per mertesaker type. Big and slow.

Not what we need. We have Klavan for that.

Let's struggle through to January and sign our main target. Not plan b or c
