OK, not exactly what we needed. But we are getting there. I can wait 6 months to a year to get the remaining players we need to get this team challenging for the title.
Next summer we have Kieta coming in. Say we add a Lemar. Our midfield & attack will be really good. Then bring Vvd in and you have a team capable of winning the league.

its been a crap window.if we were told after last season that we would hardly break our age old transfer record,not sign a top quality defender and have last seasons best player refuse to play for the club anymore, not one of you would have been happy.the weakness in our team from last season is clear for everyone to see.have we sorted this issue?have we f@ck we've gone out and bought on the cheap yet again.if we hadn't won so well at the week end you would all be climbing the walls with anger.FSG will be delighted with the way this window has gone.it wont be long and you will hear how tough this window has been and we tried really hard to sign top players but we are happy with the squad that we have and we have faith in the team going forward.blah blah blah.it will be the same script in january and again next summer.Liverpool don't spend big money get used to it.

This time next year we will have the Coutinho money and maybe the Mane money to spend. Why will our best players stay, we show limited ambition.
I'm mildly annoyed but I think we all knew this is how it would pan out.
Our failure to buy a CB is criminally negligent and it will cost us as the season goes on.
