Did we really pay 40 odd million for ox and pave the way for arsenal to up their bid for Lemar to replace him?!

Wow, what a slap in the face if this is how it ends up. I mean if we had interest, serious interest in Lemar, surely common sense would say get that deal done, then go for ox as arsenal have no choice!

Relax dude. Arsenal can afford Lemar outright without selling anyone so we did not help them in any way.

It depends. If we'd bought Lemar first, Arsenal might have refused to sell us Ox. It might end up costing us more for Lemar (if we do get him), but given the choice surely he'd chose to come to us over Arsenal (particularly if Arsenal also lose Sanchez)
