Has told arsenal he only wants to join us, or he will stay there. Can someone tell him to [oops] off. Typical ox, gets himself in a great position, only to [oops] it all up.

What are the odds we pull out of the Lemar chase for this average joe, an Lemar ends up at Chelsea !

Most probable outcome is that we end up with Ox only, which sadly would be very disappointing.

If he comes to us for £40m then that's Everton level of ambition if you ask me.

No way we will pay £40mil for an over rated squad player with 11months left of his contract.

Surely our businessmen owners can see this is not good business.

Free transfer to £15mil is good business. Anything else is a waste. He isn't better than anyone we have.

Definitely not a player to take us to the next level, should avoid!

Oxlade-Chamberlain is an interesting one. I don't see him as anything other than a squad player, for us or Chelsea if he leaves Arsenal. Apparently he wants to leave Arsenal to be first choice in central midfield, I haven't seen anything in his game to suggest he's better than what we have in that position?

However I do feel his career, like many others has stalled at Arsenal, perhaps Klopp could be the man to revive his career and help him realise the vast potential he showed at a young age.

£35million is too much though for a player in the last year on his contract, just wait it out and sign him on a free.

If we can't get Lemar, I think anything under 20 million for Ox would be decent business, he's a good player, arsenal aren't getting the best from him, working with klopp will improve him, so he'd be decent cover at worse, also with his pace it's additional cover for mane & Salah.

I question the weekly salary he will be offered. Didn't Arsenal offer him 150k a week?

He isn't worth half of that.

Liverpool have apparently just had an offer of £30mil rejected by Arsenal. They're refusing to do business unless we match Chelsea's offer of £40mil.

If Monaco are still considering our bid for Lemar and we're bidding on Chamberlain, does this potentially mean landing both players?

Can't see why Arsenal would now accept any less than the £40m Chelsea were offering. Even £30m is too much though as he's only a year left on his contract.

Walk away, tell him to sit tight for a year and do a pre-contract in January. Absolutely no point wasting money and time on him now.
