I don't think anyone thinks we've a god given right to be the biggest team in Liverpool. But if you're basing that Everton MAY overtake us in the players they've bought then you're wrong. They're all average apart from maybe Keane.
You've still not answered who they've signed that if we had would've made you think we've ambition? I don't need to wilkij, Spango, just did it above, really you've got to see a broader and bigger picture wilkij, youre thinking way too small, by just looking at recent purchases. Things are rustling in the undergrowth right beneath our feet, while our management focus exclusively on moneyball policies. Time for LFC fans to wake up. I second that too, judging Everton on the surface of just the quakity of signings is foolish , their ambition throughout the club heirachy is where their potential to overtake us will eventually become aparant , i.e took man city a couple years to establish themselves too, they signed robinho, Jo, Barry ...etc

@ so your a tranmere fan then ???
I get your sentiment , the only reason I want to see Everton have success is because it just might be the thing to get LFC to clean up their act, and fans to suddenly have higher expectations ,
Example : Everton finish 4th : LFC win UCL Everton nearly finish 4th 13/14 also !!!
We are connected somehow .
Merseyside is a sleeping giant , Everton pushing top4 is good , when I was a kid growing up I despised the PC all there players and some of there fans, as you get older you mellow, grow up and have a different view of things. I myself are nor really emotionally connected to Liverpool F.C anymore the way football and the club have changed over the years, I still have my season ticket and attend home games because I still enjoy watching a footie match and also sitting by people I have known for years so enjoy the banter. I think my view of the Club now is probably better, more balanced and nearer to the truth now simply because I am not emotionally attached like I was before and my judgement is not clouded or biased, I am not bitter towards the Club, far from it, I am very lucky and privileged to of seen what I have and more than a lot of people on this forum can only dream about regarding success, so am grateful to the old club for giving me that, those memories can't be taken away from me so...deffo not bitter... so would you partake In a "walk-out-esque" protest or any protest if it meant that the protest may push FSG to show more ambition???

Not the position of a team looking to be average. Bar Mane, Matip and maybe Salah all our signing since Klopp has taken over have been in the same bracket

All they've done is the same as us but from a worse position. The scatter gun of average players didn't signal any ambition from us did it so why does it for them?
And Costa is just a loan and I'd be mighty surprised if he went there.

Of course they have money. They just sold their best player. Their new owner won't spend this much every time and they've bought average players. That's not intent for me. Intent wouldn't be 10 or 12 average player but 2 or 3 top players. I'll ask you the same, if that was us would you be happy and applauding our intent and ambition?

Selling your best player and replacing him with lesser quality is the opposite of intent. As I've said, Everton are being run in the exact same self sufficient model as FSG run Liverpool.
