Everton fans pretending to be Liverpool fans?
Great... I suppose that's because we always finish above them. However they're showing signs of ambition lately, which makes them the only Liverpool club with ambition, so that's a warning for those with ears to listen, and we mustn't have any ears for we're certainly not listening. You'd think we would because ambition in your opponents is a very dangerous thing, especially when we have no ambition ourselves. If showing ambition means selling your best player and replacing with good to average players then there isn't a club in the land more ambitious than us!

Ha ha, that's true, if pecuniary aggrandisement represented the pinnacle of footballing ambition, we'd be league toppers every season!

Everton trying the scatter gun approach that worked so well for us. The only player they've signed that I wouldn't have minded was Keane. Sigurdsson £45m! Just let that sink in. Real ambition there

If I were on the board of LFC just now, I'd be keeping a very close eye on what's going on a few yards down the park there, and it doesn't look as if anyone is monitoring the old enemy, but they are stirring themselves these days, are they not?

I do prefer it when you talk plain old English. So who exactly have they bought that you'd have been happy for us to sign? Someone who would've made you think "we're showing real ambition here"? I think you're mistaking buying average players with having ambition. This is just their new owner playing kid in a candy store and nothing more. They sold a player for £75m so were always going to be flush. If you look at their average spend per player it will be well down on what most think you need to average to get anywhere.

They bought a CB who I think is better the 3 of the 4 we have for one.

Yep. Like I said earlier. The only player they've bought that I'd have been happy with.

They lost their best player and as wilki said they have tried the scatter gun technique in order to replace him.
Quality will trump quantity every time. No one knows that better than us.
Balotelli, Borini, Assaidi, Yesil, Alberto, Illori etc etc................

Maybe we'll become the Peoples Club in a few years then, when the Bluenoses start winning things? its like a circle, Everton were always the biggest club on Merseyside up until the 70 s, Liverpool then became bigger since the 70s onwards and the way things are going and looking Everton will become the biggest Club again in another 10 years or so, swings and roundabouts I suppose... That's true in the 1960,s Everton were huge the World Cup was played at goodison being one of the premier grounds in Britain and evertons nickname was the millionaires with the Moores family bankrolling them Liverpool's success was due to nothing unique just good management at that time. Everton could easily overtake us it's not spangles winding us up anyone who things Everton can not overtake us (especially with new stadium and owners) is a complete fool

They make almost 200M less than us a year. A stadium alone is not enough to bridge that gap. He's running the club in the same self sufficient model that FSG are. They may come above us from time to time but I seriously doubt they'd ever overtake us.
