Do you think signing Van tricky dicky will solve our defensive frailties? You have to look at the manager and how he sets the team up firstly. Look at how Rafa used to set us up, favouring taller full backs to help out aerially as well, with the more defensive minded midfielders, Pepes various golden gloves proved Rafas strategy was good, the downside was we werent as prolific going forward. Throwing money at fashionable names will not solve this I am sure.

Anyway my thoughts on what he just said, I for one think it's a. Bad idea for the following reasons firstly they are not doing anything wrong urs tgere club not ours and they own it lock stock and barrel, if they want to take 500 million pound out of the club and put in a tenner then they can it's up to them, best business run on putting as little of ure own money in and taking as much profit as you can out while at the same time ruining it successful.
The second reason is we seen what happend last time we protested, FSG get back at the fans other ways, they told us the Annie Riad won't get built and also sold Sterling.
Third reason is simple, if fans start protesting at every decision the club makes and we don't like or agree with no potential new owner will touch us with a barge pole with such a volatile customer base....

Just my opinions...

You looking forward to Thursday night football with your lot this season.

Still dont understand the logic of us first having to qualify before we can buy. If we bought these targets, they can help us qualify easily.

I think its more like no one will want to join us unless we do get through but even then itl be touch and go and of course there will be no one half decent left to buy....perfect for the FSG policy?.

It isn't about qualifying. Look at Man Utd. They buy Pogba for £90m. Looks awful. £200k per week. This season. He's a bargain.

Matic £40m for a 29 year old. Looks expensive except he will probably win the league and therefore the £100m prize money will make him a bargain.

And he's the type of player we need.

They have a plan and they have a plan B,C and D.

They finished below us and now they've spent money in the areas they need and they will challenge for the league.

We finished below them 25 years ago and still haven't figured out what to do.

Klopp is not stupid, he knows the defence needs work. I'm still optomistic that once we secure group stage we will bring in vvd and another player at lb or dm. Surely we cannot go into the season fighting on 4 fronts with this thin squad? I just don't see it.

I suppose that's because we always finish above them. However they're showing signs of ambition lately, which makes them the only Liverpool club with ambition, so that's a warning for those with ears to listen, and we mustn't have any ears for we're certainly not listening. You'd think we would because ambition in your opponents is a very dangerous thing, especially when we have no ambition ourselves.

Maybe we'll become the Peoples Club in a few years then, when the Bluenoses start winning things? whistle
