Every South American or Spanish player dreams of Barca or Madrid.
This is why we should try and stick to English players. Id rather finish 8/9 and have a trophy here and there with a squad full of scousers than win the league with a bunch of foreign lads who it means nothing to.

Did he not choose Chelsea over us a few years ago for more money? From now on in I'll look at all players as short term mercenaries who'll jump without an iota of affection towards us or the club, sort of a mutual disinterest as the the LFC and the real men that created our illustrious history are well and truly behind us now. I had a dream - it turned into a nightmare, it was about being owned by a few yanks that between the two yank owners managed to really catapult us to the mediocrity level. Tarnishing the good name and culture at a once magnificent club.

True... but we haven't helped ourselves with another poor transfer window either. After seven years of FSG and their moneyball policy, it should be obvious to all that we're never likely to help ourselves in a transfer window, while they remain as owners, how long will it take for that realisation to dawn I wonder?
