Southampton are prepared to let VVD rot in the stands than
Sell to us! Talk about cutting your nose off to spite your face.

I don't really believe Southampton would actually let a player they value at 50/60/70M sit on the bench.

As a Liverpool fan it's slight annoying but in the view of a football fan I think more clubs should do this type of thing, too much player power nowadays.

Though, it may hurt Southampton in the long run as future targets might be put off with how they've dealt with this - they're always going to be a stepping stone club.

Indeed he will but not to us, even after we were forced to grovel an apology to them we have had ample time to find another option and yet here we are the kings of dumbfukness still sniffing around him like an annoying jilted lover who won't let go. Want this window to close now so as to stop this embarrassment and at least try and take the football seriously. Disgraceful business from the owners,scouts,transfer committee and the manager.
