Who could we get to replace him? This is just a hypothetical question at this point, as obviously I hope he'll be made to stay still.

But if he does go for whatever reason, who is the best replacement we could get? Rafinha? Isco?

Rafhina is crap and Isco wouldn't come to us.FSG already signed his replacement with Salah. If(when)Couthino goes the money will be tucked away for our next huge spending spree.because"it was a tough window this summer,we tried very hard to get our targets but unfortunately for what ever reason it didn't happen.we are happy with our current squad and expect to have a very exciting season".

I don't think we would be able to replace him. He's our Suarez right now.

I think someone else would just have to raise their game. A front 4 of

Firminio salah mane lallana would still do damage but I've no idea who could do what he does for us

Every time we've sold a player for big money it has all been re-invested. If it isn't this time it'll be down to Klopp not wanting to buy anyone (or spending months chasing a player who's team will not sell as they don't want or need too!) and not down to FSG pocketing it or spending on the Red Sox.

Coutinho won't be sold anyway unless Barca want to break the world record (as it stands now) which Dunk has always maintained they don't want to do.

i'm also going to remain positive,at the end of last season that with qualification to the champions league and to make a challenge for the league,it was very clear to everyone that the squad would need extensive strengthening.so in addition to keeping our best players we would need to sign top class players to show ambition and to be able to compete at the highest level.we can not afford to be left behind when all around us are building. We can no longer be a club where our best players want to leave to be able to win things.we are Liverpool not a stepping stone club.i'm sure our owners feel the same way and are doing all they can to make sure we get back to being the winning club we always have been.i expect to see a number of new top quality players in a liverpool kit by the start of the season.dont you?

Is there any point replying to that sarcasm?

If no more players are signed then it's on Klopp for me. If you believe reports he has no alternative to VvD. He has chased a player that's "not for sale" for months with no progress and no alternatives. I'm all for getting what you want but not if the team is going to suffer.

I just hope Klopp is a stubborn when it comes to keeping Coutinho as the one thing I agree with in your sarcastic post is that we can't keep losing our good players.

Yeah, there's no way we are not going to have a replacement lined up if we sell Coutinho. That would be suicide and we would need to review our transfer strategy to the core if this happens. Only way Barca will poach Coutinho is if they cough up 150m.

Nice and childish just because someone doesn't agree with you. I'll leave you to your school holidays now and talk with the adults.
