The echo(being used as a club voice piece again)are reporting that Liverpool will not make a third bid for Keita because they will be able to sign him next summer(yeah right!)for £48M.
This could just be a bluff by us to make RBL worried that our extra money is walking away or it could be that we have genuinely failed to capture a long term target yet again after working on the deal behind the scenes for months.we have now managed to f@ck up both of our main targets for this window.i bet they don't f@ck up the sale of Couthino, they will get top dollar for him.
The season is not far away and i fear we could go into it in a weaker position than when we finished the last.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

It was our fault that we put a lot of eggs in the basket on this one knowing the guy was not for sale at any price.it certainly wasn't a success was it?they were repeatedly told he's not for sale but ploughed on regardless.now time and decent alternatives are thin on the ground.
On the plus side FSG have saved a lot of money so that's good right?

Someone would've encouraged it or I'm sure we wouldn't have wasted so much time. I also wouldn't believe we've given up. It's all hear say and all games and tactics.

Yep,it could well be a tactic to make RBL reconsider.i did read that some of the board were happy to take the money, but it all seems like the familiar story of us failing with a highly prized and chased target again.

We've stumped up plenty of cash for him so can't be accused of low balling this time. We need Keita to kick up a fuss and force the issue if he wants the move. Force their hand.

Why waste so much time tho what's the point of that ?

It's not wasted yet unless I missed the window shutting? Like I've said before, there must have been encouragement as I don't believe Klopp is stupid enough to waste his time.
