Still no contract extension for Emre Can and we're supposed to be going after this Keita. Is he on his way out? And if he is, this won't be good.
Next season is going to really important for Klopp, he could be sacked by the end of next season.

He had a poor season and I was hoping for big things.
There's other CM's I'd rather sell but if they need funds to put towards Keita, I'd be quite happy with cashing in and getting him in to replace Can.

Can played with an injury all season. Would not sell him at the prices quoted. You get nobody today for 20-25m

I hope we keep him, he did well at the Confederations Cup, I am sure the bidders will be offering big pay now, we may have blown it by not getting him to sign up earlier, as we will have to up the package now to compete I bet.

I am a big fan of Can. To be fair, his position in the side has never been clear and he was played in defence, holding and defensive midfield and box to box and had injuries which have only recently been disclosed.
He will be an immense player, but I fear he will show his true worth with another side after we let him go.

If we do buy Keita and a left back, we will have 2 additional central midfielders and I think Can will then choose not to sign a new contract especially if Juventus is interested

That is the problem. It is Captain Hendo vs Emre Can.
I have made it clear in other posts on my opinion on Captain Clumsy/Forest Hendo.
But he is ingrained in the club as is the equally talented Lucas, so that is that I guess.
If he goes to Juventus, arrivederci e buona fortuna. Emre Can
