To all the people who don't seem to comprehend the concept of quality over quantity , I'll make it nice and simple .
Say person (a) and (b) are downloading the same online movie , and person (a) has 1mb per second download speed , person (b) has 4 mb download speed.
Person (a) is downloading this file from an accredited site that requires a membership fee, person (b) is downloading the file from a rogue site file sharing.
Person (a) takes 4hours to download the movie , person (b) takes 1 hour to download the movie .
Person (a) watched the movie in perfect clarity , person (b) watches the movie which seems to have poor sound quality & picture , person (b) redownloads the file from another site to find better quality.
After 3hours of searching person (b) finds a good quality version and downloads it
The end result
Person (a) takes 4 hours to find watch the movie in good clarity Person (b) eventually takes 4 hours too __________ What have we learnt: Both approaches give the same result,
But for every fan who doesn't want LFC to splash $ on quality because then we can't get a LB , CF, CMF..etc. unless you feel as if we will win the title next season with all these players, what's the point wanting them in one go???
This signifies person (b) impatient yet it doesn't solve anything ,
It may take long to buy quality over quantity because we will use large chunks of transfers on few players, but eventually we will have a team that can genuinely win the league.
The method of quantity doesn't work , We have been trying to win the league for 26 years!!!
IF WE SPENT ALL THE TRANSFER MONEY ON 1 PLAYER EACH YEAR SINCE 1992 WE WOULD HAVE WON THE LEAGUE ,
Quick fix solves nothing - end of story
FSG has taken advantage of our clouded perception of success to implement their flawed philosophy, that further clouds the truth and simple ways of success , not this rogue-style of success they crave, their style of success is disrespecting the whole organisation of how EPL is run everything from lacking EPL advisors, to insensitive statements , two-faced pri**ks. Their methods of success is causing a toxic relationship between the club representatives , owners of other clubs despise our ways and now EPL has lots of money , FSG's methods are obsolete and cannot hide behind the excuses,
THEY WERENT SUGAR DADDIES, BUT NOW WE MADE THEM SUGAR DADDIES SO FU**KING SPEND OUR MONEY THAT YOU MADE OFF US!!! Only that one phrase sums it all, you don't know what you are talking about. 60m for a defender who had half a decent season is ridiculous, wasn't Lovren the next best thing after slice bread before coming to us?

Signing a defender who replaced the last defender we bought from them for 7.5x more than they paid despite a season ending injury. With little experience in the top flight. Never played competitively in Europe having already aggravated them and forced to apologise as they said they don't want to sell.
What's unrealistic about that?
Just because he is bloody brilliant doesn't mean he isn't over priced. I don't even think ha has been bloody brilliant consistently

Exactly and I don't think VVD has proven so far to be the best defender in the world. Even at 50m he would be the most expensive defender ever, but, Southampton want even more, which is ridiculous.

He's looked better than anything we've had in the back 4 for a long time, looks like we've ballsed it up anyway,so who are all these comparable defenders out there that you keep banging on about that we can purchase for 50 quid then Vish?
That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

For one it'll take a big chunk out of the kitty that could go elsewhere and it could also bump the price up of other targets as they'll see we've been taken for a ride. Ultimately though, if we buy him at that price that's up to them and I wouldn't lose any sleep over it as we'd be getting a proper good player.
