Collectively Klopp and his Staff are not up to the task!
We play the same laboured side to side football with no cutting egde. We never set up to play each individual opponent and take advantage of their weaknesses. Opponents know if they put men behind the ball and it almost always stops us and we end up becoming frustrated and running out of ideas.
Each team has players who are not comfortable being played a certain way, whether that be through lack of pace, height or strength etc... It seems that our build up to our next match never takes in a tactical approach in training to take advantage of our opponents weakness.

We have to invest in experienced successful coaches as a priority even before we tackle the lack of quality and indepth strength of the players! It's pointless spunking a sh*t load of money on players when they are being coached a one dimensional way!

We have the poorest squad of the top 6 with the most injuries to key players (perhaps tied with united), and we are still in the drivers seat to qualify. Even if Arsenal win both their games in hand (big if) we are still ahead.

If he gets us CL footy at the expense of Arsenal and United, that is a hell of an achievement.

It's a big if though, isn't it? We can't be sure of suddenly racking up 2 wins on the trot.

Oh, and remember we are not exactly playing against the kind of teams we usually perform well against either...

Ever thought it could be our players that are one dimensional because of the low sperm count in the spunking department over the years?

Agreed, although I expect Man Utd to be in the Champions League via winning the Europa League anyway.

Qualifying for the CL has to be a platform for us to build on though, we won't improve without regular qualification for Europe's top competition.

if he gets us CL footy, and it's looking like a big if the way he's setting out his stall, it'll only be because both Arsenal and United are having mares this season, it's not because we're doing wonderfully, quite the contrary.

Nah,not having that Hercky, you could then say that Arsenal have only qualified for CL every year because of our never ending mare.

We aren't doing wonderfully, but we are doing much better than last season or the season before, with largely the same players. We are in 3 right now because we deserve to be. The table doesn't lie. We will get what we deserve at the end of the season, for better or worse.

We were extremely good until Phil got injured and Mané went away to play AFCON.

After that we've more or less been pure cáck.

On average we've been, well, erm, ahum, ...3:rd.

So all in all it feels like we are worse than 3:rd because we have fallen away from a good position, rather than been coming up from a bad position.

The points it will probably take to get into a CL position this year will be high, which does suggest it's not a bad achievement getting there - whoever from us, Manure or Arse that finally make it.
