Oh of course, we should have picked two players who have had recent injuries and just kept our fingers crossed they could make it to the end. Maybe they were both advised to play for no more than 25 minutes? Why would he risk that? By starting one of them, you're forcing your hand with a substitution before a ball has even been kicked too.
I think the majority of Liverpool fans are behind Klopp but are just frustrated at how the second half of this season has panned out. A minority, it seems, have decided he's not for them. That is all.
Unless someone tells us that they had specfic medical advice about how long to play players, how are we to know? We can only assume that if someone is on the bench they are fit to play. Not saying that Klopp should tell us before the game but surely after the game he can explain his thinking.
Just because the majority may hold a certain view it doesn't mean it is right. There are serious doubts about Klopp. Great guy it seems with a wonderful personality. But:
- gameplan. is his preferred style sustainable over a season with a limited squad?
- are his training methods appropriate? others have questioned them and blamed them for our injuries which they say were predictable.
- does he have a plan B? I've not seen hime make any decisive changes to change the course of matches as far as i can remember.
- defence. has been shocking.
- transfer policy. why we kept Lucas and Moreno I don't know. Why didn't we keep Lazar when he was snet back and we needed variety in our game. Why have we not brought any genuine worl class players in 3 tranfer windows under Klopp, except Mane perhaps.
