C'mon Chris, take it on the chin. What some people could see was that the team's performances are stalling.

After we beat Spurs at home I think there were 15 games to go. ANd Hendo announced that we're aiming to win all our remaining games - we knew it was a daft thing to say then.

We then got to 4 or 5 games left and still we were saying 'if we win all our games...' blah blah blah. What we could see is that it wasn't going to just happen like that.

Today... many of us said Sturridge and Lallana should have started. Maybe Klopp thought that they would be more effective when other legs are tired. If we'd have nicked it 1-0 it would have been a masterstroke.

Point being, today's result hasn't messed up our season. Klopp and FSGs decsisions over the last 18 months are having their natural effect.

I don't understand what I'm supposed to be taking on the chin? I've criticised the manager for a wrong team selection for today's game following the return to fitness of Sturridge and Lallana. I've also criticised him for not making substitutions earlier enough when it seemed very obvious we needed to change things.

Suddenly you then pipe up saying you saw these issues coming weeks ago? Which I'm struggling to see how? How did you know what the team would be today? How did you know we wouldn't make subs earlier enough? My issues are with the management of today's game.

It's always easy to be wise after the event.

Also, are you saying that you know better than Klopp?

I really don't understand what your problem is. Why are you trying to tie me up in knots? I've offered my thoughts and opinion of today's game, if you want to debate that then fine but I don't really know what your angle is at the moment.

Of course I don't know more than Klopp but in my opinion we should have made subs earlier today, I'm not being wise after the event either, it was obvious during the game and I'm sure I wasn't the only one saying it should have been done at half time.

I agree, I couldn't understand why we started with Lucas when we are at home and need to win the game, the midfield of Wijnaldum/Lucas/Can is too similar, they do not get forward enough or link up with the forwards, I figured Lallana must have a knock or some reason he was a risk to start?

It's been the story of the season, we had little width and no real penetration, the only player who gives us that option is Mane, without him we struggle when teams sit back, our whole style of play should not rely on 1 player.

Milner was unlucky, it was a decent penalty, and a good save, we were lucky to get it really as it was not a clear penalty.

We left it too long to change, and I blame Klopp for that, but we do not have that many options to change a game, but we looked better with Lallana and Sturridge on, so that should have been changed earlier, I'm just surprised we didn't lose it by giving away a late goal.

And that Milner got his kick on target?

A nice sarcastic post and thanks for copying what I've been saying for most of the season. I didn't see anything positive in today's performance at all and it was so obvious we needed to make substitutions to try and change the game.

Exactly. And when some of us saw this a few games back and could see the writing on the wall we got shot down. Hope this puts in in context.

So you foresaw the manager not making the right substitutions in a game that was weeks away? Because that is what my thread is about.

But why not having a balanced post, we have done so well against the top 6 clubs, why not adding this to the post?

Idiotic to say the least. The fact that you are more concerned with baiting me than discussing what went wrong today speaks volumes.

I've already quite clearly stated I don't know more, I've just offered my opinion. Feel free to actually respond to what I've said.
