That is horrible. Mental health issues are dreadful and often just laughed and scorned at by non sufferers.
Hope he makes a speedy recovery and gets back into playing for the blues again soon.

Could this also be the problem that Sturridge is dealing with - mental health problems?
People in the game so often say it is all in head and he is apparently fit to play.
Just wondering if he also has mental health problems which we are not aware of.

Everton play relegation-threatened Swansea this weekend and the Welsh club's manager Paul Clement has sympathy for the strains some players feel.
He said: "A lot of these situations go undetected because there is a big stigma attached with mental illness and depression.
Horribly true I'm afraid.
Without going into any details, I know first hand exactly what he is saying is 100% true. As a consequence, you just suffer in silence all on your own until the dam wall starts to crack up.

I actually bollocked a fellow red today for making jokes about Aaron's current situation, as I found it totally disrespectful and damaging. I feel for the guy, I really do.
This has absolutely NOTHING to do with what club you support

it must be a serious issue to be sectioned.its not an easy thing to do.i think it has to involve docs, police and other people.even then it only occurs if the person is a serious danger them self or others.i wish him all the best.

I have (and am at the moment) on medication for anxiety nothing like Lennon I have been on them a few times they really work but takes a few months. Apparently it's all about the chemicals in your body which affect your mood. My symptoms are just getting things out of perspective and over worrying. I have never felt suicidal or anything like that just very down at periods. Here's the thing it's very very common and you will find more people than not are on them. I take them for a few months then I am ok for a few years then it slowly builds up and back to the docs I go. Left to its own devices or resorting to drugs or alcohol will destroy you. Go to the doc
