When the quarter final draws where made i said to a mate (a scum fan) that utd would cruise to the final and whoever they meet at the time B Munich, Barca, Chelski or ourselves would give them a good hiding, Utd had such a easy way threw it was not funny, The only team they had to meet was the Goners and after the way the game went at Anfield they where never going to be a problem (forget the score line). It just shows the CL is all down to the luck of the draw, Ive no doubt that if we had got the same draw as the scum we would be celebrating our 6th european cup, Braca would not of been able to do to us what they did to utd, our midfield has to much class

I agree with you on the Drogba coment Emp, he is an absolute disgrace. I really think they should bring in video review for diving and ban the feckers.

There definately somethign wrong with the draw when we've had chelsea for the last 4 or 5 years ! Manure tends to get a fairly easy draw! Maybe because they've won the Prem for the past three years has something to do weith it and we're always fighting just to get in it! Maybe next season will be different because we've qualified automatically, who knows!
As for Drogba, I agree with rafrendum that he should be given a warning by the ref, then a yellow card and if he continues with his diving antics, a red.....All ref's should be a lot stronger on the diving in all compa round the world and anyone seen to be diving shou8ld be given at least a yellow card to send out a warning to them! It's the only way they are going to get rid of it from the game!

I think we'd have beaten Barça on the day. Rafa would have planned a way of beating them.
As for the midfield, Barça are better in some respects - gifted technically but Liverpool are stronger physically - they'd have given Barça no time whatsoever especially with Kuyt and Monster Masc plus Alonso and Gerrard are no mugs.
One thing's for sure, we'd have made a better game of it Hopefully next year eh?

Let's see if we get a better draw and the mancs and chavs play each other in the 1/4's or not even make it through the group stages !!!

We certainly wouldn't have just concentrated on defending them. We would have attacked them in the same way we attacked Real.

I am sure we would have given Barcelona less space and less time on the ball.

Not sure if we could beat them but we'll come close.

It would not have been a walk in the park for Xavi and Iniesta
