“If I have to wear the Liverpool shirt again, I'll do so with pleasure."Note 'If I have to'... not 'I would love to' “I was late for training, something that happens everywhere. I paid a fine and I do not know what else I can do,” he added. So no acknowledgement that he did anything wrong. On the contrary, implying that there was nothing wrong as it 'happens everywhere' and that he did something noble by paying a fine. It doesn't sound like he has resolved things with Klopp. It sounds as if he still disagrees with Klopp and just doesn't get it. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/footb...e-a7676926.html

Interesting comments. No mention of the dodgy substance he took either? Is there a hint of I'm bigger than the club in there?
He's doing well at Palace and if he comes back and does the same for us then fine. But he needs to wind his neck in and do as he's fecking told! If not he can fukk off as we'd be better off without that kind of bad influence around.

If he plays for us as well as he appears to be doing so for that fat tw@t down at Crystal', then bring him back and play him. Can't afford to be 'pig headed' about this matter, but yes, he needs his 'ed re-wiring first

Problem is... Klopp has to decide whether he comes back before he will get to know whether he will perform for us just like he seems to be doing for palace.
He can probably get a good price for him as things stand. Say £30m? By taking a gamble and keeping him... that would be £30m less in the transfer kitty.
As things stand, I'd cash in. He simply hasn't shown enough contrition for his actions.

I think we'll settle for 15m John Stones was £50m so to ask £30m for Sakho is about right. It's what you have to pay now for players and FSG would get hammered if we didn't ask for that kind of money too.

Everton was not interested to sell Stones while Klopp is not interested to play him, big difference even before mentioning the quality of the players. We can always ask but 20m IMO will be a big achievement, let alone 30m. I rather think he will go for about 15m

I don't think the status at the club will have a massive impact. He's been playing well and teams know that so we can ask for a good sum based on that alone. Considering how player fees are going, £30m as an asking price isn't far off the mark for me and it's also about time we started asking top dollar for our players.

Asking for 30m is clever I think. Why ask for 20m when we know we can probably sell him for that anyway(clubs like Milan etc). What we know is that teams like Southampton and Palace now can afford these types of players. If we don't want him then he will go to a club like Milan etc. If Palace want a player of that caliber they are going to have to outbid the likes of Milan and overpay for him. We know that hence the 30M

We bought him for £16m. Since then there's been a massive tv deal that has driven prices up. He has three years left on his contract and is a France international who was expected to go to the last major tournament. At 27 he's probably ay his peak and is getting good reviews at Palace.
I'd say £30m is about right. And we shouldn't budge. Anything less, keep him.
Thinking about it a bit more, if he does have the repoerted 3 years left on his contract then it might be worth keeping him anyway. He can be sold in Jan or next summer if need be.
