Another extremely poor performance from Coutinho today, deservedly being substituted on 60 minutes. His form is a serious worry for me, he's been awful since he came back from injury in January.

He constantly gave the ball away today and looked weak in possession.

He was in fantastic form before the injury against Sunderland so I'm wondering what has happened to him? He's had enough game time after the injury to be back in form now.

Unfortunately with our squad being so thin means he's going to be in the team so lets hope his form picks up soon, because its like playing with 10 men at the moment.

As the old saying goes, "Form is temporary, class is permanent" and i dont think that anyone doubts that coutinho has class in abundance. Some players take longer to recover from certain injuries, Phil will get there eventually.

Pete: Berg, I'm just not cut out to be a good person.
Berg: I know. That's why the Lord gave us good looks.

He's one of them flair players who looks good when his confidence is up and the team is playing well, problem is if he's not playing well he doesn't offer much to the team, not like he gets physically stuck in when not on form.

City next, he normally does well and scores against them, hopefully a 30 yard screamer into the top corner smile

Only good thing is it means he will probably be still with us next season !!

He does have class yes, but it's inconsistent form like this which is stopping him becoming the world class player he potentially is.

I thought he looked on the up against both Spuds and Arsenal.

Not in the same form as he was before the injury, but nevertheless looked to be on his way back.

Today was a massive setback for him. Just hope the right Cortina turns up next week!

He did look shot of confidence on the ball. Easy for the opponents to steal it from him today.

He's about as reliable as an Austin Maxi atm.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.
