Well we could certainly do with Eriksen about now and while Countinho was out. First teamers aren't going to stay fit and ready all season.
I agree FSG are 'steady' owners. I wouldn't particularly want an Abramovich, somewhere in between.
Problem with people saying there's no real value or some players would be gambles is the fans don't care about the odd waste of money. I don't blame FSG for not throwing money away, but it's not like the budget then rolls onto the next window. They've done ok but I think we all agree the net spend is a little low. If Klopp really did have £40m to spend, will he have £80m in the summer if he doesn't spend it?
Like I said, they're ok owners and it's not about this window, but it seems to be a reccuring theme. I read the net spend is around £24m last 5 years, which again is ok - maybe less so considering the increase in revenue.

Add to that as a club we don't have the allure we once did it makes the transfer windows very difficult.

HI. I'm new on here but as I see it Klopp is very one dimensional just like pep at City. We have no plan B and that blame falls on his shoulders. Look what ManUre did to us the other week, they were struggling so they changed to a big man or 2 up front. You have to adapt in this league.
As for not having the fitness to play our high tempo game over 38 games is just silly. Look what Leicester did last season.
One more point that Klopp as to take some blame for is can any of you name me a successful team who as not had a striker banging in 20 plus goals a season or challenging for top spot in the goalscorers chart. Every LFC fan knew we didn't have one this season but no effort made to correct that by the gaffer.
I'm not saying I don't like Klopp, I do, but he is being found out and I hope he sorts it quick before the scum down the "east lancs" pass us in the league

I would suggest we see it as Klopp is getting experience and will hopefully learn. After all, he wasn't the finished article when he joined us... he only had experience of the German league where you only need to chase down one team.

Well the one dimension was doing very well up until Christmas, however consider this Coutinho injured lallana playing out of position Sturridge starting Friminho out of position Origi starting Matip injured / Cameroon debacle Klavan starting Mane off to ACON Clyne injured Can starting
Quite a few disruptions for us to deal with, drop in form should be expected. And do you gauge our success on what the Mancs do? Please tell me which 20 goal a season strikers were available and would of chosen us over the big hitters?

In such situations we should be aiming to at least keep the game tight. No problems if we can't bash the opposition and the game is not entertaining... keep things tight, try to nick a goal but at least come away with a point. The odd loss is going to happen.... but we shouldn't be shipping so many goals.

I still think Klopp does what the owners want rather than the fans and fans need to accept that profit comes before success and glory.
