We lost to the lowest ranking team in the league and at home, this is unacceptable. It is not too different to losing 6-1 at Stoke to me

But it is acceptable. Otherwise it wouldnt of happened again just like the Burnley loss, Bournmouth loss and plymouth draw if you want to add that in. If it was a fluke win we could sort of deal with it but its the fact swansea came to Anfield scored 3 goals and deserved to win the game which isnt acceptable.

So it's acceptable but not acceptable. I think you are losing the plot

I don't think anyone has or is saying it's acceptable. But most of us are adult enough to put a game of football into perspective.

It was a bad result yet we're still top 4 and we can still challenge to stay there or better as there's still a long way to go. People always say that this league is the most competitive in the world and that anyone can beat anyone else yet when it happens to us it shouldn't have.

It is not only that game, Sunderland game was only a bit better and both clubs are fighting relegation. Southampton was not much better. We are still 4th, but let us not forget, we were well above Chelsea and top a few weeks back

And we were only top for two weeks back in November.

I don't think we were off the top spot by 10 points, were we? So what do you feel will happen now, everything will be fine in the next few weeks and we'll challenge for the top spot soon?

I expect us to miss on top 4 if we do not reinforce in this window. I don't know why we shouldn't try to have a go at the title after our first half of the season, now if you are happy to let that go, so be it.

What do you men happy to let it go? I'd love us to have a crack at the title but never expected it even after our first half of the season.

And all you're basing that we won't make top 4 on is us losing a player for a while and not replacing him? You've still not said who with though or at what sort of level they should be. We could buy someone and still miss out. We could not buy anyone and still win the title. We just don't know.
