A positive thread about LFC? Excellent!
I'm delighted with our form and where we are in the league, I'm also very encouraged by two clean sheets in our last two games, both away.
I think there are 6 very good sides in the league this year, I wouldn't want to predict how the top 4 will finish. I just hope we can maintain our form.
Mane's pace has added an extra dimension to our attack and he will be missed in January, I feel we need a pacey replacement. (Pulisic from Dortmund seems to be the one who Klopp wants) It's great that we aren't relying on one player to score us goals, this proves how good and fluid our attack is. Which side d'ya lot thinks better on what you've seen so far 2013/14 team or this one? I think this side is slightly stronger all round, but the 13/14 team have the wonderful Luis. Some days he was just unplayable.

Very happy with the season so far, we are genuine challengers playing good football.
The big positive for me is that we are not dependant on 1 or 2 key players now to win, the team is playing well and sharing responsibility.
Hoping for 1 or 2 quality additions in the New Year to cement our challenge, when I say quality, I do not mean we need to spend £50+ million on a player, look at Matip and Klavan signed for a combined fee of £4 million, hopefully Klopp knows a few more he can pick up cheap. Hoping to see abit more of Ojo & Grujic, with Mane going to the ANC, I think they may get game time.

Also, this looks like the start of something good and sustainable, we aren't on a good run based on 1 or 2 world class players having an amazing run of performances, that we are likely to lose to a Barca, like when we had Suarez. The 2013-2014 season was amazing, but it never felt like we would be able to sustain that long term as the likes of Suarez were never going to stay.
As long as we can keep Klopp, it feels like we can continue to progress and not be a flash in the pan for a season.

I just wish in Jan we can get a good left back and a quality out n out striker not a benteke type a terrier type like Suarez was just imagine what we could be like with a balanced team ! It's a real shame Ings got injured again, I think he would have suited Klopp's style really well and had a decent eye for goal, he was unproven on stepping up to Liverpool, but the few games I saw him in, I was impressed. If Klopp can find a new Suarez, that would be something special, players like that are once a generation and its pretty much luck if your club can get them. I haven't seen any LB who are better than Milner has been playing for us, I know what you mean about a balanced team, if Klopp can find a better LB than Milner he's doing well.

Exactly, Coutinho is our star player and we have coped without both him and Sturridge already this season!

To be honest I am surprised (pleasantly of course) to see where we are with this team, I feel we are really overperforming thanks to Klopp. Mane has been our best player IMO while Firmino is quite inconsistent, even Origi who is not a natural scorer is scoring and Milner is a makeshift LB. I do feel though that we need to add some quality and definitely need a replacement for Mane as he leaves for the CAN despite Coutinho returning with Sturridge not reliable. We also need a natural LB, so I feel we need to add at least 2 players.

Yes finding a Suarez is a needle in a haystack but they are out there if you try hard enough ! I must say I'm not overly confident in our scouts tbh bad track history I think Kloppy might tho Chris ? I think Klopp has a proven track record of buying quality, under the radar players. I don't think any of us expected Mane to have the impact he's had, and look how good Matip has been despite being a free transfer!

Matip was in the German league team of the season last year, so hardly under the rador.
