A positive thread about LFC? Excellent!
I'm delighted with our form and where we are in the league, I'm also very encouraged by two clean sheets in our last two games, both away.
I think there are 6 very good sides in the league this year, I wouldn't want to predict how the top 4 will finish. I just hope we can maintain our form.
Mane's pace has added an extra dimension to our attack and he will be missed in January, I feel we need a pacey replacement. (Pulisic from Dortmund seems to be the one who Klopp wants) It's great that we aren't relying on one player to score us goals, this proves how good and fluid our attack is. Which side d'ya lot thinks better on what you've seen so far 2013/14 team or this one? We had in essence, a one man team that season, carrying generally mediocre players. Can you just imagine how good we'd be this season if we still had 'Our Luis' playing for us?  I really think we'd be way ahead of the rest by now.

Nothing can beat the Suarez led line of 13-14. Only if Brendan knew how to deal with Maureen on that most fateful of days!

We've scored more goals (so far) this season compared to 13-14 (I think), Suarez was beyond phenomenal that season, though. Think we'd definitely win it this season if we had his goals - would suit Klopps game too.

We do, however, have 1 more point than that season (17 games in) 2016/17 - 41F, 20A 2013/14 - 42F, 19A

Which side d'ya lot thinks better on what you've seen so far 2013/14 team or this one? I think the teams are very similar, exceptional going forward with weaknesses in defence. The 13/14 side needed a Fernandinho/Matic type destroyer in the middle of midfield and I feel the current side needs this type of player as well.

Jaysus we have been good to watch both years though. Football as it should be played. Hopefully we will be rewarded in some way this year.
