It seems to be that time of the year, over the top criticism of our goalkeeper.
While I fully expect rival fans and pundits to have digs at Karius, I don't find it acceptable for our fans to have a go at him.
The lad is 23, new to the Prem, and a hell of a lot better than Mignolet in goal.
However the person I'm most annoyed about is Jamie Carragher, who started this entire bandwagon off while working for Sly TV, I hope he is too ashamed to ever set foot in Anfield again, especially his defending of Gary Neville.
For me Karius is right, Neville had 8 games as a manager, failed, and is now a expert once more.
Lets all remember "you never walk alone" and Karius should not be walking alone either.

You can please some people sometimes, but you can't please all the people all the time.

He's terrible and deserves critism, he's not a young kid and he's on a kings ransom wages wise, people need to stop defending these Prima Donna pampered stars, would we get defended like that in our jobs...think not...

To be fair, he's not the only terrible player on the team. You're right, he's not that young either. If there are better keepers available I'm sure Klopp would like to know who and where they are.I Dont trust either keepers in goal. Then again I'm not a manager or coach.

I agree, his performances have been abysmal and Carra and Neville are correct to point this out seen as that's what they're paid to do. He needs taking out of the firing line and should have to earn his place in the team, we have no chance of winning the league with him in goal this season unless there is a miraculous improvement in his performances. I think Klopp is getting off easy at the moment aswell, poor decision to play him ahead of Mignolet who was actuallly in good form when dropped but he doesn't seem to be getting much criticism. His loyalty and faith in Karius has cost us 4 points in 2 games.

What amazes me is how our GK coach still has a job. Migs, Bogdan and now Karius. All talented, rated GK before joining us but seemed to have gone backwards. Ward the lucky one that's out on loan more often that he's spared? The GK coach (name?) the same one that Reina couldn't get along with?

23 is young, and how many points has Mignolet cost us over 3 years? A lot more than 4.

Also 11 players on a team, not just Karius. Our defence has been appalling in our last 2 matches, Lovren and Clyne were signed for far too much by BR, Lovren is clearly not Liverpool standard, Clyne and Matip are, but having a midfielder at left back is really hurting us.
