Exactly. The only reason to drop Karius is to save his confidence.

Migs has proved over three seasons to not be good enough so why would he do any better? I'd rather give Manninger a go if I'm honest.

Karius is making basic mistakes. I don't think Mignolet is much better but he needs to be brought back into the team for the moment. It's way too easy for teams to score past us and it's cost us 5 points in the last 2 weeks.

Carragher said Liverpool should be 5 or 6 points better off than they are now if Klopp had not picked Karius. I agree with him. You love going to the past when you don't like a player to pull them down. I admit Mignolet has not been good enough for the majority of his time at Liverpool but this season he has been much improved and has looked like a very good keeper.

Karius has been terrible this season there is no comparison between the two.

And if Carragher had been dropped for all the points his own goals cost us... blah blah. I admire your loyalty to Mingo and the previous regime but penultimately it failed. Lallana and a few others have stepped up and improved ten fold under Klopp,Mingo is still crap, a couple of average games does not compensate for three years of dross. It's not an agenda just hasn't done a thing to warrant a starting place.

Amazing how people including Carra and Neville can say that Mign would have played a blinder in those two games...Behave yourselves.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

And where were all the 'We don't need a new number1,Mign is brill' threads when we were in the market for a new keeper??? Let's keep it real guys.

Well said, Mignolet isn't the solution long-term but I'd use him as a short-term fix at the moment.

We don't know how Mignolet would have played but I don't feel he would have conceded the 4 we did at Bournemouth, or Payet's free kick yesterday.

And you're a fine I e to talk about going back to the past! Migs has cost us many more points and proved to not be good enough more times than Karius. Going on past performances if anyone should come in I'd give Manninger a go as Migs couldn't be further from the answer.

And why did Carra not mention any of the forward players for fluffing their chances? How many more points better off would be be had they all gone in? Ifs, buts and maybes.
