Didn't they have a mad club owner who kept changing his mind? and I'm sure Konoplyanka turned the transfer down as he wanted to run down his contract, we made a £15 million bid, so its wrong to say FSG were not backing it, we couldn't get the player, like we bid for Sanchez, but he didn't want the move.
