ok ok i know i know, im not the best person to have started this thread. Anti Raffa camps can raffa bash on all the other threads till hearts are content. but it looks like the deal is done now, and i know some are sad to see him go , and thats fine too, everyone entitled to their opinion.

but i for one would just like to take a moment to say thanks for for Istanbul and the FA cup. two games that i thoroughly enjoyed.

there were some unforgettable nights in europe as well against juve, barca, inter, chelsea etc.

Well I have mixed feelings tbh. Idk whether it was right to sack him or not, whether we can find a better man for the job or not but as you guys mentioned, Thanks for everything Rafa, I respect the man, never bashed him and never namecalled him because of those famous nights he has brought to us and some wonderful signings such as torres, xabi, johnson, arbaloa, reina. He has laid the foundations for someone good to takeover and continue his good job.

We can all agree that some players need to go emp, but still what rafa has done is a great achievement.

i think he will be remembered with a lot of "what ifs'?

we have some very good players that he brought here who we can build the team around. reina, carra, agger, johnson, masch, stevie, torres is great players but unfortunately they're surrounded by mediocre players...

it's a combination of very limited funds becasue of the yank [oops], but it's also because rafa has failed with the £6-12m players.
