There's nothing to accept. Your little attempt at a wind up by calling us 'customers' is a little lame. We're all customers and always have been. Just because we call ourselves fans (whoever we support eh Spangly?) doesn't mean we have to accept anything or a penny needs to drop.
Maybe come up with some other wee word or phrase to try and wind us up as your time here will no doubt be as short as ever. I can assure you I am not trying to winde you or anybody else up, I consider myself a customer and speak as one that's all. I don't know why if people already know they are customers and the Club is a business, why would they swee it as a winde up, surely they would have to disagree with the term... So if we accept that you are a customer will you accept that we are fans. ofcorse I will accept whatever you want to call yourself it's just that I will refer you and myself to what we really are which is customers and consumers... So in other words you won't accept that we see ourselves as fans. Well what a surprise, I didn't see that coming.

No it's clearly an attempt to wind (no E) us up. It's all you ever come back for. Must try harder though as it's a poor attempt even by your standards.

Ha, ha, good try there Spangled, but you're pissing against the wind. Huddersfield, Preston, Wolves, Leeds, etc, never had Liverpool's history, nor Liverpool's domination of Europe, neither did any of those clubs you mention have the world wide strength of Liverpool's fan base, which is a major factor in this globalised age, and now is now, and will remain an important factor in our return to the top...the cream rises to the top! I know that those Clubs never had our history or fanbase but the common thing we all share or shared is that if you don't build from a position of strenghth, let things slide, fade or drift exactly the same outcome happens. At one time we were the most successful English Club, now we have dropped to second, we had the second biggest fanbase in the country now we are our fourth, finishing second was regarded as a bad season now being trophyless and finishing in the top four is seen as major success so if you please don't try to pull the wool over Liverpool customers eyes. I am not saying we are finished or anything like that or that we don't have a large fanbase, what I am saying is we are no longer a big club as such or a successful one anymore either as one trophy in ten years proves, our fanbase is shrinking because a modern customer want success like Chelsea and Man City's fanbase over last 15 and 5 years proves, lets face it we can't even fill out at home. I am just giving an honest alternative point of view that's all, we have improved on the field this season I would just add... Our problem stems from a previous owner losing the bottle and wanting out, combined with two further disastrous sets of cowboys both milking us in different ways with different degrees of failure. However the club and it's fans/supporters are too strong and well rooted to go the way you indicate with those anemic examples. We will get past this unfortunate phase in our rich history and the cream will rise to the top again. yes you make a decent argument for the way you think however you are not taking into consideration the modern customer and his quench for success. Let me just ask you this if I may, you say we will always be at the top type of thing because in your words cream rises to the top, why can't other clubs use the same method as we did to get to the top unless you think we are the only ones who have that copyright. If you look at it from a sensible point of view We ganed our customer fanbase due to our success in the 70s and 80s that was the reason fans from outside the city attached themselves other than maybe a few with family ties or connections, Chelsea in the last 15 years have done what we were doing as in winning trophy after trophy maybe not so many leagues and champions leagues but trophy after trophy none the less bringing with it fame and publicity to customers outside of London and the Country they are now I think 3rd or 4th biggest fanbase behind United and maybe Arsenal I think. Manchester City over the next 10 years will probably over take both if they continue on the present trajectory and infilstructure so why if we acquired customers by being successful can't others, the history thing counts for nothing nowadays otherwise Leeds and Villa would still be in the Premier League... I can forgive you getting the historical facts of LFC wrong Spangled old son, given where I suspect you're coming from, but you need to go back a decade as it all started in the early 60s. Yes other clubs can try to emulate our rise to dominance, but leaving aside the partial success of Ferguson at United, none have so far come close. Fergie did well at United but never did manage to dominate Europe the way we did, and no doubt will again, cream always comes to the top.

nk the thing with cream is that if you leave it too long it turns sour which unfortunately happened to Liverpool. Has anybody got any decent facts which could back up the argument the future looks good apart from a decent manager at present and the club won loads of trophies about 30 years ago... I am seriously not trying to winde anybody up I just take an alternative view point to most that's all, just my opinions and do like the feedback...
Just one more thing do you think when United won there Leagues over 20 years it was harder to win than we won ours as a competitive point of view, interested to know...

How about this season for a start? Have you seen the league table or any of the football we've been playing? No football fan with an ounce of knowledge can say they haven't been impressed by LFC this season.

No it was easier for United, as they arrived to fill the vacuum left by Liverpool at the end of 30 years domination at home and abroad. They managed 20 or so years of home domination but never matched Liverpool in Europe. Oh and their cream has soured too, it happens. However we're now on our way back, all we need is for FSG to lift their constraints or sell up and we're off... Cream comes to the top.

No football fan with an ounce of knowledge can say they haven't been impressed by LFC this season. yes Liverpool have done really well this season, football has been very good to watch at times only problem has been Klopp still hasn't sorted out the achillies heel which has been the defence which could ultimately be the difference between finishing top four or top six. The good thing is the manager seems to be getting a tune out of some under performing players like Firmino and Llalana but at the same time players under him have gone worse like Sturridge and Clyde, some good signings like Matip looks decent and some poor signings like the goalkeeper so for me a mixed bag. I think Liverpool have started the season well but if being honest it should be expected with all things this season in there favour like no Europe and three of the big four clubs in this country unsettled because they have brought in new managers. Overall I think it's another poor quality League because of these factors and I think the most compelling fact to back this up is Clubs like Liverpool being top of the League this season and Clubs like Leicester City actually winning it, for me if the big Clubs are right and in order this sort of thing doesn't happen it's a bit like a Valencia doing well ahead of Real or Barca those clubs can't be in good shape if that happens. This is just my open and honest assessment of what I have seen up to now and last season, Liverpool have had a good start and exceeded expectation tho...
