You're not making any sense Red,how's dropping him when we're winning to play him in cup games gonna give him confidence and time to settle in?
That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

Listening to Klopp's interview he is trying to make us less vulnerable by not conceding free kicks where set pieces can be used against us, no doubt he is also working on coaching the defenders/keeper to defend better. Karius just needs time, I remember when De Gea first came to PL he was all over the place on crosses and now he is possibly the best keeper in the world, the PL is quite unique how teams attack on set pieces with teams like West Brom/Stoke specialising on them.

Zonal marking is a great system. Under Rafa we were conceding very few goals with this system. The thing is we stopped using it under Brendan and now we are going back to it and getting used to it is where the problems lie. I believe that once our defence gets used to it we will be hard to break down again. We have the personnel in Lovren, Matip and Gomez also Sakho is not bad. It's just a matter of time.

Just as we got level on points with Arsenal at the top of the table our chase for the title is close to collapsing. We cannot compete with other top teams with Karius in goal as he is at the moment. His performances can't be doing any good for his confidence. Unless he improves very quickly we will be out of the title race within 2 months in my opinion. He nearly cost us against Swansea and Utd, he didn't help himself against West Brom and he has barely had anything to do in these matches. The manager's had the warning. For the sake of Karius and our success this season take him out the team for the time being and give him time to settle. Migs cost us more points than any keeper cost anyone else last season.

Never been a fan of the zonal and listening to most goalkeepers and defenders they not keen on it either. Rafa's zonal was a major failing of his but I feel klopp is not so dogmatic, rafa used it when it was costing us every week, i reckon klopp would change it no problem if the players don't like it.. as someone mentioned he main tactic to deal with it is not to give away set pieces and thats fine, rafa gotta away with that for a few years, just when the pressure is on its too easy to score against zonal

I much prefer the defenders to be picking up their man and keeping an eye for the runners.
