Trump definitely wouldn't stand a chance. For all his [oops] spouting and pseudophilosophising at least Brendan is not a complete [oops]. So he might have gotten some fence sitters.

Rodgers was making a number of indirect criticisms of FSGs wage and recruitment policies, and I'd imagine that didn't endear him to them, and then when they had the alternative of Klopp, who is committed to similar policies available to them, Rodgers fate was sealed. I feel a bit for Rodgers, but it looks like LFC is the beneficiary of that bit of backstabbing, and while I don't like it as a way of doing things, I'll settle for the outcome. I wish Rodgers all the best in trying to rescue his career from what was bad judgement by him to ever have anything to do with FSG and their policies in the first place. He should have walked in the wake of that close encounter with the title.

Rodgers was sacked because he was not good enough for LFC and he was one of FSG's biggest mistake. You cannot put a guy who has won nothing in a team who have fans who want trophies everytime, the pressure was just too big.

I agree with comments his time was up at Liverpool but I don't agree he only talks a good game that team in 2014 was one of the best I have ever seen Rodgers got the best out of the players the stars and the youngsters I think there is talent in there

Any manager who finishes second in the PL having ran so close cannot be bad.

He inherited a truly world class player in Suarez and had some very good attacking players in Sturridge/Sterling/Coutinho/Gerrard, so he was lucky to have these players. The team was exciting to watch but only had 1 real way of trying to win/playing and that was all out attack, the top managers can adjust their teams and tactics to suit the game/opponent, like what Mourinho's Chelsea did to us.

He also spoke a load of Bo**ocks which got very annoying towards the end.

He had his faults and it was time for him to go, but that year he gave us some great entertainment, it was truly Outstanding smile

Is anyone else sick to the back teeth (pun intended) of the amount of forum space Bren takes up?

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.
