if that stat (61 v 65) is true that doesn't reflect well on Klopp when you consider the squad we had under Kenny compared to what Klopp inherited. Rodgers inherited Reina, Agger, Gerrard, Sterling and Suarez to name a few? Don't let any facts cloud your judgement. Gerrard is the only one who was a top player when Rodgers took over. Agger was a decent player at one point but injuries had wrecked his career before Rodgers came in. Sterling was a prospect but nowhere near a top player. Suarez was a menace under Kenny, he wasn't a top player but he had the right attitude and a lot of talent which Rodgers got the best of. KD went to 2 finals with that team winning one and Rodgers brought his own players to reinforce that team such as the welsh Xavi. Klopp had to sell some dross Rodgers bought, in fact, he spent less buying. His record is better than Rodgers which ever way you look at it, whether in the EPL or the cups. Fact is fact.

Fine that's an opinion and ok with me Chris's comments were I spoke rubbish which any one can see I did not and u agreed ! if we can beat the champs that Chris rates us for then why not utd
Stop taking things so personally, me saying rubbish was referring to your negativity. We're having a good season so far and we should be feeling positive, not negative after a draw against Man Utd.

Fine that's an opinion and ok with me Chris's comments were I spoke rubbish which any one can see I did not and u agreed ! if we can beat the champs that Chris rates us for then why not utd Watford put 3 past em Bournemouth 1 , stoke 1 at old toilet , foxs 1 Northampton 1 cites 2 Lfc 0 ? So there not that good are they ? if we wanna get any where then we have to take these OPPORTUNITIES against our close rivals for a top four position, on paper that is a better result for utd than us ? They would not of been looking fwd to that game ! We missed an opportunity guys sadly again
But you're talking like we were playing Bournemouth or Watford. Utd are a very good side and to think we should automatically beat them is a bit wide of the mark. If we don't beat West Brom this weekend, now that'll be a missed opportunity. Utd would've set up completely different against those teams you mentioned as they don't pose as much threat as us. The way they played, to stifle us, is very hard to break down when a poorer side does it to you let alone a good one. Yet had it not been for a couple of really good saves, we'd have come away with the points.

it was a missed opportunity. no ifs buts about it. The bar has been raised guys we have been brilliant. This was a huge game, huge pressure and media spotlight on the players, manager.
With the way we have been playing recently the game that was in it they should have left anfield with nothing. The players know it the manager knows it. It was the perfect game, setting, amount of media attention and pressure to see were we are at.
We failed. If we beat them I would have thought this is a changed team that can actually handle a bit of pressure. I would have thought we could really win the league. Monday night made me think that we are not quite there yet. It all depends where you think we were. Some are thinking we should be Champions this season which on paper is unrealistic unless we do a Leicester. United on paper again has a better team than us and they came not to lose. Going gung ho as some might have wished was not a good tactic as this is what Mourinho had prepared his team for, same as he did when he won with Chelsea in our title losing game under BR. Their keeper made 2 great saves with at least one world class. We are 2 points off the top, so nothing is lost yet. We missed an opportunity against Burnley not against United I thought it was a great game to see where we are at as a team. Given the way we have started the season I would expect us to beat them at anfield if we played to our potential. We didn't and that has me asking why we didn't, I think we choked under the pressure. it not a big negative, we are going places under this manager. The game just makes me think that we are still missing a player or 2.

Hang on no one last season was saying their Avery good side now this season thee a very good side ? Really Zlatan, Pogba and Miki. All players we'd give our right nut for before the season started. They should make them a much bigger threat and a very good team.

Hang on no one last season was saying their Avery good side now this season thee a very good side ? Really They went into the game 3 points behind us. We finished 8th last season, no one was calling us a very good side either. We are 2 points off the top of the table after a very testing start. I think most of us would have happily accepted that after our opening 8 games.

Exactly, it's been a positive start to the season! We just need to keep it up!

Years of "false dawns" this century have conditioned me to getting only mildly excited when things are going well, with the expectation of failure. Jurgen Klopp has changed that. And I see good progress in the players, in the team and the club.
Comparisons with the former manager could not be more dramatic. Our current leader is an intelligent, confident leader but he is also humble. The other guy is not a leader, is insecure and brags about what "will" happen.
I cant see any barriers that will stop the Klopp train from winning a trophy or two this term and a top three finish in the league is what I expect. And next year we will be at the top I reckon.
