I don't have red glasses on, the facts are we have played the Champions and Man Utd at home, we've taken 4 points.

We've played Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea away, we've taken 7 points.

So that's 11 points from 15 and an unbeaten record against teams that are expecting to be challenging for the league, or at the very least top 4 places.

If you think that's an opportunity missed then fine, but our start to the season has been impressive.

Also can you please explain how my point is a load of rubbish?

Rodgers inherited Reina, Agger, Gerrard, Sterling and Suarez to name a few?

What Chris said.

And what it reflects is that Klopp, despite what you say, is better than Rodgers. The FACTS are there for us all to see.

Gerrard is the only one who was a top player when Rodgers took over. Agger was a decent player at one point but injuries had wrecked his career before Rodgers came in. Sterling was a prospect but nowhere near a top player. Suarez was a menace under Kenny, he wasn't a top player but he had the right attitude and a lot of talent which Rodgers got the best of.

I didn't watch the game and by all reports I didn't miss much but I'm not too bothered with a draw and it's far from the end of the world. We're well in the mix still and with some very tough fixtures out the way, hopefully we can keep up the good work. If we can stay where we are until xmas then we stand a good chance of top 4 and not many predicted that before the season started.

I made no comment on our start which I agree was tough i made no comment that it Was the end of the world !! I said we missed an opportunity in that game and we did there isn't any argument for a no we didn't ! tell me that we didn't have an opportunity to go second and put some space between us and utd if you both don't see that as opportunity then you really have rose black glasses on guys smirk

Well you can call it a missed opoertunity but you're talking like utd are Hull. They're a very good team and shouldn't be under estimated. It was far from a given that we'd win the game so for me not a missed opoertunity.

Haha. You'd do anything to try and excuse Brenda. Just face it, Klopp has more points in his first 38 games than Rodgers. Fact.

it was a missed opportunity. no ifs buts about it. The bar has been raised guys we have been brilliant. This was a huge game, huge pressure and media spotlight on the players, manager.

With the way we have been playing recently the game that was in it they should have left anfield with nothing. The players know it the manager knows it. It was the perfect game, setting, amount of media attention and pressure to see were we are at.

We failed. If we beat them I would have thought this is a changed team that can actually handle a bit of pressure. I would have thought we could really win the league. Monday night made me think that we are not quite there yet.

It all depends where you think we were. Some are thinking we should be Champions this season which on paper is unrealistic unless we do a Leicester. United on paper again has a better team than us and they came not to lose. Going gung ho as some might have wished was not a good tactic as this is what Mourinho had prepared his team for, same as he did when he won with Chelsea in our title losing game under BR. Their keeper made 2 great saves with at least one world class. We are 2 points off the top, so nothing is lost yet. We missed an opportunity against Burnley not against United
