Sakho got 90 minutes for Liverpool's Under 23s last night. Good news, no?

Good for re-sale value but I hope he never kicks another ball for us, nothing to do with off field stuff but on field. He is s##t. The most awkward, mistake prone defender since traore, makes me nervous every time he is on the ball. Not a Liverpool player, not good enough. Thankfully klopp appears to agree with me.

I used to enjoy his off field antics. But now theyre just annoying.
I've never liked his on field play tho. He's pretty poor with the ball at his feet and apart from a goal against dortmund he's been awful. A few dortmund goals could have been prevented with a decent defender in his place

When Sakho was playing for us last season and formed a decent partnership with Lovren, nobody was chastising him! Yes his shape on the pitch is unconventional...so is Henderson's! But he was effective and I can't remember too many times he made mistakes that led to goals conceded. It was only until the drug test at OT popped up that the scorn arose from a % of fans and he had to sit out because of the ban. He was later exonerated but a certain % of fans would not forgive or forget. When he went on the preseason tour he'd just been exonerated and yes he acted a fool, but can you imagine having that hanging over you, not being able to play the sport you love to then be told you can? I would put it he was overexuberant at the time, he is a natural extrovert anyhow. I think the club acted just as silly by deciding in the last embers of the transfer window to try and loan him out, especially when we did not have much in the way of cover at CB. His current escalation of time spent on social media, I would put down to him not wanting to be forgotten about, it's clear he loves LFC and the fans! I think all concerned should get out the olive branches, because there is definitely going to be a time this season that we'll need Sakho!

I hope we don't need him as this will mean we have lost at least 2 better CB than him

Actually really bored of this story.. for this first time in what seems like forever, we could actually have four decent (far from brilliant but quite good) central defenders which could pay off for us immensely over the course of a season and we're alienating Sakho in what seems like rather a petty. I really like Klopp but I'm not sure about this.

I have mixed feelings about the Sakho saga, he's awkward and as someone said unconventional in his playing style, as it would seem in other things also! However he can be a very good defender when he properly focused. I was a bit critical of him when he first joined us partly because of his style and his early on day, off day performance but he grew on me a bit after settling in somewhat. However what attracted me most to him wasn't anything to do with football,, but his work for disadvantaged children in Liverpool, that's a lovely trait in any young person of his age, and it deserves credit imo. If he was a poor player I'd say get rid but he's far from being a poor player given the improvement in his performances since joining us. Therefore I say give the lad a chance, we all make mistakes especially at his age.

I'm always drawn to people that are a little bit on the crazy side but with Matip showing his quality i'm a little less bothered what happens, hope he sorts his head and feet out though.
That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.
