its five games into the season. if its not right to judge players n teams this soon then why are we ruling Hammers out this soon as well. they have some quality and may just turn it around.
It's amazing how some people can get carried away when one player makes a manager look good.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

I don't hear anyone mentioning Bilic and Stoke anymore after there really poor starts.

Just shows how many fans are only interested in superficial stuff.

These players are world class on championship manager that's why.

I still think Shaqiri is a class player. Imagine if he was lining up with good players like city or chelsea he would do very well. His injuries are a worry tho. As for West ham they might do well short term but ultimately they won't challenge the big boys.

Not going to trawl through old posts and pick people out but there was a consensus on here by quite a few.

And then there's Wizard and gnp who moan at just about all transfer business

He hasn't fulfilled his potential as of yet and I think people value him on his name and the clubs he has played for rather than what he can offer right now.

Couldn't agree with you more wilki, but what has outraged me more than anything in football during the last 24 hours is the action (or inaction, depending on the way you look at it) of Yaya Toure! He gets a basic £200,000 for an average 135 minute working week plus untold bonuses and free state of the art gym facilities, private health care... then he sees fit to publicly slag off his employers! Don't know about you but I would crawl to work over broken glass on those conditions. As, I suspect, would 99% of the population. And the remainder must be former Lotto winners. Unreal!

To be fair, Shaqiri is still a very good player and Bilic had a great season last year. Justified then?
5 games in so we don't know where it'll go but he didn't do much business in the summer. They seemed to get carried away and target a higher calibre of player and end up empty handed. WH were never going to challenge the top 4 this year. Owners get carried away too - they'll probably sack Bilic when he doesn't make top 6.

I think Hughes has done a good job at Stoke too.

None of us call it right even most of the time.
