We couldn't even win against Sevilla in the Europa, so none of us should be in a position to gloat. And that's with better players.
And because of that we're not even in the champions league.
Klopp needs an improvement from last season if he wants to reach or surpass Rodgers' level. I doubt he will be able to challenge for the title this season like Rodgers did in his second season even in spite of Klopp being a top top motivator. it can be no one else but Brenda himself. I have seen enough. rest my case No, I think it is his chick

Losing 7- 0 is a shambolic result for Celtic FC. But Rodgers has a history of being terrible in Europe. His 6-1 loss to Stoke also shows that this was not a fluke. He got lucky with having Suarez in his team. To think what Klopp could do with Suarez in our team. There would definitely be trophies won.
Klopp isn't a tactician like Rodgers, he's a motivator, he only knows how to play one way. I don't think Klopp would have been the right man for Suarez. Suarez was already so determined and driven, he needed a tactician to build a team around him, and a Rodgers-style manager would have been better I feel. We've seen Klopp doesn't change his system when we can't break a team down, he changes personnel and instills great mental qualities into his team. change games with the duds / unbalanced squad ur lover left?

Rodgers was still learning and adjusting his style to get the best out of the players we had. We didn't only play one way, we played quite a few systems but there were recurring themes in each one. Essentially, offensive creative football with tactical discipline. How he achieved that varied.
We did better against lower teams under Rodgers compared to Klopp. This I feel was because of our tactics employed to create space and move very compact teams out of position.
Under Klopp we have struggled with this tactical side. However we have done much better against top teams that naturally leave more space for our attacking players. Our players run further, put the opposition under intense pressure, Klopp gets every drop out our players and quite often this is enough to beat teams of better quality. An amazing motivator, but as the winning percentage stat suggests we haven't been consistent enough and this is because we have struggled against lower teams.
Comparing their first seasons, Klopp win stats is better than Rogers. We were very inconsistent under Rogers except his 2nd season.

Rodgers first season: 1.61 points per game Klopp first season: 1.60 points per game. It's official, Rodgers had a better record first season, and to think we were playing a 17 year-old Sterling and Suso on the wings!

If I had have added Rodgers' 8 games it would have made even worse reading for Klopp.
