He must have one of the worst records in Europe, surely? I know Klopp has lost his last 5 or 6 finals I think. No comparison end of Klopp has got a better record in Europe no question. I won't go into the factors may have affected this stat, but I feel we are better off having Klopp in Europeon matches (which Klopp didn't qualify for). In the league I would veer toward Rodgers purely because he's a better tactician so would pick up those extra points against those stubborn teams.

I don't see the point of creating a thread to mock Celtic or Rodgers, Barca will batter and have battered better teams than Celtic!
However it's laughable to see how defensive this has made a certain poster, he spends more time criticising our current manager, defending a sacked manager than actual talking about anything to do with Liverpool. We only see him on threads (Usually which he's created) about our current manager, and how he doesn't compare to the previous one.
I'm not a Rodgers hater, I find his interviews extremely cringy and I felt it was time for a change. But the obsession with him from certain people has to stop, support Liverpool Football Club, not Brendan Rodgers FC!

Losing 7- 0 is a shambolic result for Celtic FC. But Rodgers has a history of being terrible in Europe. His 6-1 loss to Stoke also shows that this was not a fluke. He got lucky with having Suarez in his team. To think what Klopp could do with Suarez in our team. There would definitely be trophies won.
Klopp isn't a tactician like Rodgers, he's a motivator, he only knows how to play one way. I don't think Klopp would have been the right man for Suarez. Suarez was already so determined and driven, he needed a tactician to build a team around him, and a Rodgers-style manager would have been better I feel. We've seen Klopp doesn't change his system when we can't break a team down, he changes personnel and instills great mental qualities into his team. Rodgers wasn't a tactician! I can't remember any of our managers being as inept if I'm honest. Never changed a thing during games and played exactly the same even when a system wasn't working. To say other wise is just wrong. As for Suarez, I can't think of many if any that would suit a manager like Klopp better. He's a selfless player and a tireless worker. How would he not fit?

Rogers would not get a mention if he wasn't constantly shooting his mouth off speaking bullsheet and in particular, continuing to give his opinions on the goings on at LFC.

Well I hope you are right for his sake and Celtics that no further embarrassment is caused in their remaining euro games. As he really should have been sacked after last night's performance it was a disgrace.

Rogers knows only one style of play, in fact he was still learning that style. If he was a tactician we would have at least drawn against Chealsea in that famous title losing game. We went all gung ho against a team that parked a plane when we needed only a draw. Brendan's tactics was to play off Suarez's genius, when he left he only managed 3 wins (10th place) after 8 games.

Rodgers was still learning and adjusting his style to get the best out of the players we had. We didn't only play one way, we played quite a few systems but there were recurring themes in each one. Essentially, offensive creative football with tactical discipline. How he achieved that varied. We did better against lower teams under Rodgers compared to Klopp. This I feel was because of our tactics employed to create space and move very compact teams out of position. Under Klopp we have struggled with this tactical side. However we have done much better against top teams that naturally leave more space for our attacking players. Our players run further, put the opposition under intense pressure, Klopp gets every drop out our players and quite often this is enough to beat teams of better quality. An amazing motivator, but as the winning percentage stat suggests we haven't been consistent enough and this is because we have struggled against lower teams.

You need to take those rose (or shitte) tinted glasses off! Rodgers had one style of play and that's it. He got out done tactically any number of times. He stumbled upon a way of playing with three at the back which worked for a time but when other teams worked it out, he was flummoxed yet again. As for breaking down the lesser teams, again, get those rose tints off boy! Do you not remember Palace spanking us 3 - 0 or the 3 - 3 we had against them? West Ham 0 - 3 too and lets not mention the 6 - 1 battering against Stoke. All lesser teams that we managed to break down hey? You my boy are full of shitte!

Brendan Rodgers Liverpool career.
Inherits Luis Suarez.
Loses Luis Suarez.
The End.
Outstanding tale, even if I say so myself.

We couldn't even win against Sevilla in the Europa, so none of us should be in a position to gloat. And that's with better players.
And because of that we're not even in the champions league.
Klopp needs an improvement from last season if he wants to reach or surpass Rodgers' level. I doubt he will be able to challenge for the title this season like Rodgers did in his second season even in spite of Klopp being a top top motivator. it can be no one else but Brenda himself. I have seen enough. rest my case
Steven Gerrard: Heartbeat of LFC.
football is fuckingg cruel
