I cant be the only one who finds the continual thinning of the squad alarming.

It's OK for Klopp to say we are going to play far fewer games but does he honestly believe that we can risk going through a premier league season with little cover across the back line with Sahko looking the next to be loaned out and no decent left back irrespective of Milner looking good there in the last game?

Couple that with the more defensive elements of the midfield barely looking good enough or suited with Can now already out and I'd say this is setting up for a big fail with 4-3 games every other week.

The dead wood argument for lesser or fringe players is all well and good if you have replaced them with better quality but we appear to have done nothing in this regard either.

I don't see a thin squad. It isn't a great squad but it's not thin. Players like llori Gomez Sahko brannagan markovic and ojo aren't likely to see much game time if any so it means we have around 21/22 players. That's more than enough.
Still hoping for a left back.
