He can't wait for the transfer window to close
He is shocked at the obsession with transfers in this league
He doesn't believe there is 1 particular area of the team that needs strengthening.
That last line, I think I will give him the benefit of the doubt on ensuring prices don't rocket on our defensive targets. Because, unless you see it this way, disturbing is the best way it can be described.

Some of Klopp' reported statements of late are a bit odd, not least his reported comments about Origi. And then his performance in our last game against Burnley. Still I'm not giving up hope that he can come to grips with the rigours of the PL in all it's idiosyncratic grandeur. I'm going to keep the faith that he can emulate his predecessors greatest achievement under similar circumstances. And I hope he proves me right, we desperately need another run at the title to lift our spirits and our expectations around here.

I agree with Klopp, after the performance vs Burnley, no player has a guaranteed 1st team place therefore Klopp is right to say he could buy a player for any position.
If Klopp isn't happy with Origi
Ings is in the U23s
Benteke and Balotelli - 1 gone and 1 told to go.
Sturridges latest injury being lazyitus.
Then I would buy a striker this window, not the left back everyone is begging for.

Curious why he is so arrogantly dismissing the inadequacies in the squad and also curious why he was so placid on the sideline (as opposed to bollocking the poor effort) during the Burnley game.
Does his self belief cloud the reality that some players will not deliver regardless of how much he motivates them?

He knows what we need and it'll be rectified if there's anyone he wants that fits what he wants. He knows a lot more about the squad and indeed football than any of us so let's just let him get on with it eh?

Does his self belief cloud the reality that some players will not deliver regardless of how much he motivates them? I don't think anyone should it against him that he believes in training and coaching. he could of been more active in the market, perhaps with selling sturridge if he's not going to get the best out of him, and finding a replacement but he is doing the change/changes how he sees fit.

I think allot of the emphasis is on, I can train them and make them better players, but surely that works to an extent and in this league u will get eaten alive if you go down one route alone.
I just don't get why we can't get the right players in the back 4, we had problems for years, got manquillo, Moreno, lovren, sakho, now klavan.
Jeez, I know it's early days but this klavan guy looks atrocious, surely you must have some ability before being trained to a higher level, but this guy, has got to be 1 of the worst I've seen in recent times as our cb, and we have had some terrible ones.
