It's a sobering thought that just 48 hours before a game, our star striker has the same likelihood of playing as a ball falling into black or red within a casino roulette wheel. And I can't even be confident of LFC beating a fired-up Burton Albion. 8th in the EPL last year and losing 2-0 to Burnley in the second game of a season when anyone associated with the club 40 years ago would expect a serious backlash. The Scum are undertaking a resurgence... I really really wish I couldn't care less about football, but its in my blood. LFC cause me depression which no Sertraline, Mirtazapine or Surmontil can't shift!
I know people say football is a way of life not just a game, but it's meant to be enjoyed, everyone involved is meant to enjoy it to some degree (even the referees!).
if your only way of enjoy it is by winning something, then I'm sorry to break it to you, but not every team will win something - in that case what's the point. football's too competitively driven, because of money and prestige that's what it's become about now (extrinsic factors) see it for what it is.
just have patience, when you're emotionally attached it's hard to try to care less ofc, I understand that
