We weren't 'priced out' of a move for Cilwell FFS! They wanted too much and we dropped it. Simple!

You lads that are pissing and moaning all the time should start a protest to get Klopp out as in your daily rants about FSG you forgot that Klopp is the person buying the players. He also said he is happy working with FSG. He is also making the calls on players that he thinks that cost to much.
This is what gets me. They will all proclaim a love for Klopp yet this is all FSG. Klopp is calling the shots on who is bought and sold. The transfers this year should tell them that. As you say, if they don't like it Klopp is to blame. If they like Klopp as much as they say then let him do his damn job.

They're missing the point...how on earth would Klopp know about Chilwell other than coming from scouts to be put through Flash's mind meld machine! It's not about being priced out of it, it's about the player himself...age, experience, his ability to provide competition straight away to Moreno! Chilwell was another bargain basement looney tunes idea...one for the future maybe but DEFINITELY NOT!!! the here and now...

You've ansewered your own question. Scouts would've told Klopp about Chilwell IF we were ever looking at him. And there's nothing wrong with buying for the future as all clubs do it. But you said we were priced out of a move which is utter bollox.
Nothing that has been done this transfer window suggests anything but the fact that Klopp is in charge of transfers. Last year we probably would've bought Chilwell but for more like £15m!

We'll have to agree to disagree...we dropped our interest in Chilwell because Leicester wanted too much for him...I'd say that was being priced out of it. But it's not that I have a problem with, it's a kid with zero experience as competition to the hapless Moreno! The team is DYING for a quality EXPERIENCED Left Back not a makeshift DM,CM or AM...a specialized LB!

this more n more seems to be a good window for a long long time (overall). we might not have got the most fancied superstars but all ins n outs seem to be the right decisions so far. and yes that includes Wijnaldum for me

[/quote] what would you prefer . an experienced make shift existing player or an inexperienced overpriced future star? A QUALITY, EXPERIENCED, SPECIALIZED LB...not one for the future, not a utility player, someone who walks straight into the team. Rodriguez or Hector would be my idea of VAST improvement for the position and to the team.

David Wagner his former assistant recommended him.
