Our game is very ill and it's nice to see the older players slaughtering the current crop of mediocre spoilt cretins without let up since returning from France.

There doesn't seem to be a day go by without a Football player doing something ridiculous on social media...Why do Clubs allow their players to have the ability to show themselves to be complete fu##wits, when the Clubs strive hard to create a positive image / brand? I'd be overjoyed if Liverpool FC stopped their Players posting anything online without it being moderated 1st.

It's all about selling the brand around the world (for all clubs), there are millions of followers that follow the clubs/players, so they need to visible, the fact we are discussing it in this thread shows that it's worked .....

We think he looks like a C**T as per the thread, but to lots out there he is a superstar and is the dream to follow sadly.

Talking of tweeting and social media it made me laugh with Skrtel, never let you 'friends' manage your social media accounts either !!!

Shame, as it's not a good end to what has been a good career at Liverpool.

I still maintain that Ibe was a better player than Sterling when he moved to City, and imo everything Sterling has done since proves that to be the case. I know Ibe's performance dipped a bit last season, but at his age that happens and I'd expect to see better from him in this coming season, whether it's with us or some other side.

do we still have blokes here of the view that he left us for better career. haha

It is difficult to compare Ibe and Sterling directly, as Ibe hasn't played that much, from what I've seen of him Ibe has far the better shot and can score a goal, Sterling was hopeless in front of goal.

Sterling looked the better dribbler on the ball, but Sterling was at his best with Suarez, Gerrard and Sturridge running with him creating space and mayhem (who wouldn't), without them he looks nothing like the player he did 2-3 years ago.

Ibe has the potential to be a more complete player as he has an end product, whereas Sterling doesn't, I don't know much about Ibe personally, but Sterling seems to have a horrid attitude/opinion of himself, so Ibe must be much better in the regard.

I hope we keep Ibe as he could be a star in 2-3 years at somewhere like Southampton if we sell, it is also really good to have youth players who have come through the system (I know we bought him as a 16 year old), the fans get behind those players and it breeds more loyalty in them to do well and stay at the club, under Klopp he will improve if he has it in him to make the step up.

Selling Sterling was great business, we have now replaced him with Mane, who scores more goals, creates more assists and wants to be at Liverpool, we have also made £16 million on the deal.

Ibe scored his first Premiership goal on the last game of last season, in a meaningless game at WBA. His form has been really poor with the exception of when he was originally recalled from Derby in the middle of the 14/15 season.

Sterling has a Premiership hat trick and Champions League goals to his name already. No matter what we as Liverpool fans think of Sterling the person, there is not a chance in hell he is a better player than Sterling, not even close.

What end product? For Liverpool he has one goal in the league, one in the Europa and two in the League Cup if memory serves me right. He never gets his head up and I can't recall a decent assist from him.

I've seen him score a few good goals for us, so maybe that swayed me, he scored 5 in 20 at Derby, so that's a decent record for a winger, albeit at a lower level. As I said, he hasn't played that much and has come off the bench abit, he just looks more composed when shooting.

Also, I was comparing Ibe to Sterling, when Sterling is in a good shooting position you don't think goal, you think he'll panic or miss, for the amount of good positions Sterling gets into his return is poor.

I would also say that Sterling played in a much better team when we were tearing teams apart going for the league, so he looked much better, on his own in a struggling team he is far less effective.
